I looked at her and now it was my turn to answer. My mind wasn't thinking straight, my thoughts were clouded by our early conversation and my small feelings started envelope the way I thought.

Mina, are you that person?

*FlashBack*
-Chaeyoung's POV-

I didn't bother taking it back. My mouth had a mind of its own and just spoke words that sound sweet and cheesy. Mina looked at me, her eyes filled with confusion and a bit of shock. My face didn't display any expression but I was freaking out on the inside. First, I said that to her and second, I said those specific words.

Someone like you came into my life and it's fate.

I wanted to slap myself. Mina stuttered, her red cheeks fading away as I just stared at her with nothing but blank eyes. Her reaction wasn't what I wanted but it expected. 'What was I expecting anyway?', 'I don't love her moreover I'm not pursuing her.' I thought.

"I'm just joking." I laughed, pretending it was all just some sick joke. Mina looked at me before pouting, punching my forearm once more "That wasn't funny!"

"Why are you smiling?" I imitated her gummy smile, teasing her. She grunted but giggled right after, ah so cute. Her laugh is music to my ears, corny I know but it's adorable.

"And like I said before," I added, yawning as I stand up, getting ready to leave.

"I don't plan on falling in love with anyone." Lies.

*End Of flashback*

"Why do you look so distracted?" Somi handed me the water I asked for, sitting beside me as she did so. I didn't want to say that I mistakenly said something like that to a girl who I barely even know. Well, I know more about Mina in terms of her relationship status.

"Bad day." I answered not bothering to add any context to support those two words. Somi hummed, looking at me with her intense gaze. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

She shrugged, yawning "I dunno. I forgot your cheeks were actually pretty chubby. It resembles a baby tiger, cute and small." Somi giggled.

Hm, it feels different when Somi says it.

"A tiger cub? Sure." I acted surprised like no one has called me that before but it was odd. Somi said it as a compliment as well but I didn't feel anything, it just lifted me up a bit unlike Mina. She made my heart shoot, heat would crawl to my cheeks.

"By the way, I saw her today." Somi sighed, her smile being replaced with a frown.

"Who?"

"Y-" Somi's sentence was cut off as her phone started to ring, the sound of bells alarming the both of us. She groaned and picked it up, walking to her room. Must be a personal call.

"Chaeyoung!" Oh great, Momo's voice. She calls me by my real name when she needs something from me. I forgot to buy her jokbal like I promised and she always remembers that yet she never remembers a simple math formula.

"Hm?" I hummed, looking at her but when I did Momo looked like she was in a hurry. "What? Anything happen?"

She took a breath and grabbed my glass of water, chugging it and smiling after it was empty. This girl. "You drank all of my water, what do you need."

"Can you watch Mina and I practice our dance?"

My eyes widened at the sudden offer "When?"
