Chaeyoung winked. Mina felt weak to that gesture and decided to surprise the shorter girl with a quick peck on the lips, "My turn." Mina whispered. She felt more confidence enter her body. "I'm sorry I made you wait-" Mina looked into Chaeyoung's eyes.

"I love you, Chaeyoung."

::Chapter 46::

Chaeyoung chuckled, admiring how the I Love You she's always wanted finally rolled out. "Yeah, you made me wait for a looong time." The cub teased, emphasizing on long.

Mina crossed her arms, looking away, "Look I'm sorry ok?" Her cheeks were red but she couldn't hold in a smile. "But I mean it." Mina mumbled, causing Chaeyoung to chuckle lightly.

"I'm just joking." Chaeyoung leaned closer to Mina, giving her a quick peck on the lips, "The wait was worth it." The cub smiled. She knew that all those sacrifices and the pain would be worth it if Mina was the result. Chaeyoung was thankful to finally have Mina return her feelings.

Chaeyoung cleared her throat, a visible red tint stayed on her cheeks, "Anyways, how about we go back? The garden is great but it's still a little windy." The cub slowly stood up, yawning.

Mina nodded in agreement, "Wait before we go-"

Chaeyoung looked to the penguin, only to get a hard slap on her free arm. Perfectly hitting a bruise too which made the pain sting a little more, "Ow-what was that-"

Mina pointed a finger at the younger student, as if scolding Chaeyoung like a mother. The cub pouted, rubbing the pained spot which was red at the moment, "You did something so damn reckless and almost got yourself killed, so that is for jumping into the river!" Mina scolded.

Chaeyoung slowly nodded, quietly whimpering about the slap mark. Surprisingly, she felt something soft press against her cheek. Mina kissed Chaeyoung's cheeks, a gentle smile on her face, "And that-"

"-Is for coming back, my tiger cub."

"I'm happy for them but I swear to god, if I see them like that around campus I'm going to freak out." Nayeon spoke, glancing out of the window as she sees Mina and Chaeyoung make their way back into the building.

Jeongyeon chuckled, "Why don't you just let them be? And hey, you have Momo." Dahyun nodded in agreement, laughing at the fact that Nayeon acted this way. The eldest groaned, shrugging.

"Hey remember the first time Chaeyoung and Mina met?" Nayeon wondered, sitting down beside Momo. The latter was given the news about Sana's condition in those two days when Chaeyoung and Mina were recovering. She, surprisingly, didn't freak out as much, most likely because Dahyun told her that Sana was getting a transplant.

Momo nodded, "Oh yeah! I told Mina that I wanted to go to the café so bad." The Japanese woman chuckled.

Jeongyeon raised an eyebrow, pausing her game with Dahyun, "And the café was far from Mina's place. Weren't you a little too forceful? I mean she probably had to take the bus there." The ostrich spoke, which caused Momo to rethink.

Momo hummed, "Uhh Yeah. But someone told me to go there with Mina so she could meet Chaeyoung."

Dahyun tilted her head ever so slightly, intrigued, "So like a set up? Who told you to go there."

Momo nervously scratched the back of her head, "Uh, well.." She trailed off, nervous considering that all three of her friends were staring at her, "Yeri. Yeri told me to go there. She wanted to set Mina and Chaeyoung up."

Nayeon's jaw dropped, "Chaeyoung-" she took a deep breath, "Chaeyoung's ex?!"

Jeongyeon shrugged, "Well I mean she did a great job. Look at them now." Dahyun couldn't help but laugh, giving Momo a high-five.

Nayeon sighed, "That is true. Now they're all kissy kissy." The eldest groaned.

"I don't think we're all kissy kissy." A voice retorted, Nayeon snapped her head back and saw Chaeyoung standing near the entrance door, a blushing Mina behind her back.

Momo's eyes widened, "Wait, did you hear everything we said?" Chaeyoung shook her head as an answer, sitting down on the hospital bed.

"I only heard the kissy kissy part." Chaeyoung playfully glared at Nayeon who just laughed. Mina awkwardly sat beside the cub, playing with her hands.

Jeongyeon laughed, "Honestly, you guys should kiss more. It makes me laugh when Nayeon looks like that." The ostric laughed, earning herself a slap to the arm from the oldest.

Chaeyoung shrugged, "Sure no problem. I gotta get Mina's consent first though." The cub chuckled, patting the penguin's head. Nayeon shivered, clinging onto Momo's arm.

"You two are so sweet it makes me cringe." Nayeon spoke, making Momo and the others laugh.

Everyone was asleep. They were talking for who knows how long, though Dahyun left considering she had to take care of Sana. Both Nayeon and Momo are asleep on the couch, Jeongyeon was sleeping into two chairs which looked uncomfortable.

"Poor Jeongyeon, they should have another couch here." Mina giggled. Her on the other hand was lying down beside Chaeyoung, who laughed alongside her. Mina turned her head towards the cub, "You're so quiet, is everything ok?"

Chaeyoung sat up, yawning, "Yeah, just thinking about stuff that's all."

Mina sat up as well, grazing her cubs back, "What stuff?" The penguin asked, tilting her head subtly.

Chaeyoung giggled at the adorable gesture, "You." Chaeyoung chuckled, her dimples showing. Mina looked away blushing at the comment.

"You're getting confident.." Mina mumbled, scratching the back of her head. As she was about to talk, two hands held her cheeks, pulling her close. Their lips moved in sync and Mina couldn't help but let out a moan, causing Chaeyoung to pull away.

"Uh.." Chaeyoung's eyes widened, making Mina looked away, embarassed.

"Pretend you didn't hear that." Mina glared though Chaeyoung still teased her about it, giving the penguin a quick peck on the lips, "I don't think I can do that." Teased Chaeyoung.

Mina rolled her eyes, hugging Chaeyoung, and planting a kiss on the shorter girls forehead, "I'm glad I could call you mine." Mina mumbled, to which Chaeyoung chuckled at, "I'm glad I could also call you mine." Chaeyoung smiled.

Mina pulled away, holding Chaeyoung's cheeks, staring deeply into the shorter girls eyes.

"I love you, Son Chaeyoung. So much."
