Rikana was sitting on the spacious ball hall of the castle and was trying to figure out a way to contact her family but in the process not creating a reason for Dorhum to go on a killing spree. Now being an Eufelge meant two things. First of all, if you contacted the wrong member of the family you were done for and if you got the right person you had to make sure not to cause a rukus and betray the fact that well... they were wizards and witches. She thought about asking Dorhum for a few items but she was afraid he would suspect she was still thinking of running away. Sure she didn't plan to let the mistakes of the past get in her way but according to her logic, however that didn't mean that her intentions couldn't be misunderstood. She thought he was nice and perhaps a bit of a gentleman but she still didn't want to be his bride or have his children.

- And in the end, I have no idea, who to talk to. She said after remembering her last conversation with her family members (those who didn't want her dead). She and her mother were arguing about moving, Rikana thought that they shouldn't stay in the village any longer and should move to a more secure area, her father remained silent since he himself wasn't sure what to do yet. Her mother was against it because recently, she got a lover and had gotten herself pregrant, Rikana knew it but didn't mention it. Things were already messed up and revealing this new secret would only complicate things even more. In the end Rikana was right when she insisted on leaving because the same night the opposing side of the family attacked them and tried to assasinate them, causing her mother to loose her baby in the process. They escaped but got seperated and after a while they decided to meet at the village near the sea, towards the east.

Now, she was stuck here with a demon who wanted a relationship with her, a succubus queen who wanted her head and many demons who constantly appeared trying to earn the title of the strongest. And speaking of demons, one was in the entrance of the palace and was screaming for Dorhum to come out of hiding and fight. The only thought that Rikana had was "This guy is done for", until she heard a creaking noise coming from the door that led to this room, suddenly another demon appeared and the moment he saw that in the room was a woman and not Dorhum, he barged in and approached. He grabbed her hands with one of his clawed ones and began roaming her entire body as he smiled wickedly.

- So you must be the bride of Dorhum, King of Beasts. He said and Rikana frowned. Was that how she was going to be called? Because last time she checked she had a name of her own.

- Who the hell are you? Rikana asked coldly, she stood straight despite being held in a most unwanted way, giving the demon a better look at her body. He planned to eat her flesh but as he saw how well shaped she was, he decided to have some fun with her instead. As if she could read his mind Rikana left a low growl.

- That lucky dog, he got a real hottie for a bride. The demon said to himself and leaned forward. Just a few seconds before he could do anything other than stare, a paw came from his shoulder, cutting his hand and having the demon kneel on the floor as blood began to spread, next to the intruder stood Dorhum. He had his original form and his eyes were glaring the demon who had tried to assault to Rikana.

- Any last words? He asked with a smile, his tone cold and before the demon could even scream he was cut in half, his blood fell on both Dorhum, Rikana and the walls. Rikana closed her eyes and turned away as she tried her hardest not to vomit. Soon, she felt someone embracing her and a blanket of feathers covering her entire body. Dorhum rested his face in the back of her head as he sighed in relief.

- Was that nessecary? Rikana asked him without looking back and Dorhum gave the remains of the demon one quick glance before returning his gaze on Rikana.

- He could have killed you.

- That wasn't his intention and you know it. She said and Dorhum became enraged with the memory of that low class beast having thoughts of mating with his beloved.

- I should have tortured him first! He whispered but Rikana heard it anyway.

- Next time just throw them out of the window. She said with a small smile as she turned to look at him. Dorhum smirked and leaned to kiss the girl. Rikana however put her fingers on his lips in an attempt to halt him. Dorhum replied by transforming into the human form he usually had when he was around her, he took her hand in his and placed his lips there. Rikana blushed a bit and hid her face in his chest so that he couldn't see it.

- Do you have any idea how hard it is to keep myself from attacking you? He asked her and she nodded.

- I do. But you said you wouldn't force yourself on me.

- I did and I plan to keep my word to you. He said and that was one of these rare times that he was sincere.

- Dorhum, I have a favor to ask.

- What is it?

- I want to have my staff back, all the items I had in my home in the forest. Including my withcraft equipment. She said and he seemed impressed.

- You plan to continue using magic.

- If I don't I might end up dead. You wont always be there to save me. Besides, I was never a girl to hide behind a man for protection. She joked and Dorhum laughed at that.

- Indeed you're not. I still remember how you got that succubus, Isora. That was one glorious victory, my dear. Alright, you can have them, also, I will create a garden with herbs and any other plant you wish for your potions and spells. He said and Rikana smiled.

- Thank you. I appreciate it.

- But I have a favor to ask myself.

- What?

- Can I sleep with you tonight as well?

- You... you...

- Can I? He repeated, this time in her ear and it sounded a lot like a purr. Rikana nodded as a response and he smiled gently.

- However, if you try anything, I swear I'll use a spell to summon thunder and strike you.

- Okay. I promise, I really don't want to become roasted. He said even though he could escape her. What he didn't know was that Rikana planned all of this, the moment she felt his wings embrace her. That was how she was going to do things.  She would manage to get to her goal, her way. And Dorhum had already been her first victim.
