Life is great

Y/n's POV

I woke up to see the bed empty next to me. I got up and stretched looking out the window to see the beautiful ranch. I smiled and started my trek downstairs. When I walked into the kitchen I saw Lucas at the stove making pancakes. I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around him and barried my face into his back. I heard him chuckle and he turned around and wrapped his arms around me. "Morning babe." He said with a smile. "Mornin love" I looked up and went on my tippy toes to kiss his lips. He turned his head so my lips landed on his cheek. I pouted and barried my head in his chest. "Aww did u want a kiss?" He said joking around. All I did was nod my head. We lifted my head up and went to kiss my lips but I turned my head so his lips landed on my cheek. "Hey!" I just smirked at him. "Oh you are so gonna get it." He shouted and started chasing me around the house. The house was filled with shrieks of laughter and giggles.

Lucas POV

I was chasing Y/n around when all of a sudden she stopped. Causing me to fall on her. I supported myself with my arms so I was hovering over her. I slowly started to lean in when Zay bursted through the front door. I laid my head in the crook of her neck. "Hey guys!" Zay said not noticing the position we were in. "Why did I give him a key to our house again?" I mumbled into Y/n's neck. All she did was laugh. I was about to get up when Y/n whispered to me. "Babe, I'm only in short shorts and a spaghetti strap tank top." I looked at her with wide eyes and picked her up so Zay wouldn't see her like this. I quickly ran upstairs with Y/n on my hip. Once I got to our bedroom I sat her down and kissed her on the lips and ran out. I got downstairs to see Zay eating the pancakes I made. "You know dude.. Y/n is a very fine girl." He said smiling. "DUDE!" I yelled at him and threw my boot at him. All he did was laugh and sat down on the coach watching tv. What am I gonna do with him.

Y/n's POV

I heard a thud downstairs and I knew Lucas probably threw something at Zay. I hurried up and got dressed in this:

I ran downstairs and took Lucas hat off his head and ran outside to the horses. I got our horses out and made sure their saddles were on correctly.

Mine is the black one. Her name is Shadow. And the white one is Lucas's. Her name is Streak. Lucas came out of the house and we mounted our horses. We rode off to a beautiful waterfall.

He tied our horses to a tree branch and changed to our swimsuits and jumped in. I swam to the bottom and saw something shinny. I reached down to get it when all of a sudden my arm was sucked in to the ground. At least it was my ten one I couldn't feel so I wasn't in any pain, but my lungs burned for air. I struggled to get my arm out but it was no use. I started to have pain in my arm but I thought that was impossible. I vision started getting blurry before it went black.

Lucas's POV

I walked out of the lake laughing thinking Y/n was with me. I looked behind me to see nothing but the lake. "Y/n? Y/n! This isn't funny where are you?!." I started to freak out when she wasn't responding. I got in the lake and went under to see her arm stuck and her passed out. I swam as fast as I could even though my lungs burned for air. I grabbed Y/n and shot off to the surface. I got her to land and she started coughing up water. I patted her back to help her get the water out. All of a sudden she started screaming and crying while holding her arm. I looked at it to see a large gash. I sent her horse back to the house knowing that she knew the way. I picked Y/n up so her legs were wrapped around my waist and mounted the horse. I grabbed the reins and shot off with Y/n still clinging to the front of me as the horse started running faster and faster sensing that Y/n was in danger. "It's ok. It's gonna be ok." I whispered into her ear. He got to the hospital and jumped off carrying Y/n bridal style. "Help! She needs help!" I ran in screaming. The doctors and nurses came running to get her. They put her on a stretcher and ran away. I sat in the waiting room and eventually fell asleep.

I felt someone tap my shoulder. I look up to see Y/n with a cast on her arm. I jumped up and hugged her tight. The doctor explained to me that she will be able to use her arm again for some reason. I picked her up and walked to Streak as she nuzzeled her muzzle into her stomach. I smiled as Y/n started petting her. I have my two girls who mean the world to me in front of me and they are ok. I wrapped my arms around her waist and picked her up and sat her on the saddle and got behind her and headed home. This was a crazy day and I can't wait to continue life with her.
