Athena Johnson

Going to New York was the best decision I made, then I started to regret it. I glare at the man sitting across from me in his black sedan, he probably saw me sending daggers at him because he smirked. Ugh, Jerk! I also considered that he was only fooling me, but when he mentioned my real name, I drop the discussion and agreed.

"How did you find out?" I asked coldly

"Find out what?" The good looking jerk replied innocently. Oh my, can I push him out of the car?

Not a good action Athena, remember this is HIS car. My rational self said.

"About my real identity," I whispered, he sighs before looking straight into my eyes. I swallowed the invisible lump in my throat, why does he always have to give me this unexplainable feelings? He leaned forward, and I swear I felt an electricity run down my spine.

"It's for me to know, and you to find out." He winked, I frowned and rolled my eyes at him. Wait! My eyes widen at the thought.

"You're not the man my parents wanted me to marry right?!" I asked loudly as I slapped his arm. He looked shocked at my sudden action, and honestly, I am too. What the hell did I just do?

"I...." I Started and he raised his eyebrows at me, "oh my gosh" I said softly closing my eyes.

Mr. good looking jerk chuckled, "I'll be honest, you are the first woman who dared to slap me."

What?

"No Athena, I am not the man your parents wanted you to marry."

"So how did you know about me?"

"Its a long story sweetheart," he smiled "maybe next time."

Before I could say anything, the car stopped. I looked outside and my window and gasped, is this where he lives? Its taller and way much modern compared to my apartment. Its black and crystalize. The car continued to drive inside the pavement, probably where the garage is.

"Where are we?" I asked again as we step inside the lift

"My apartment,"

Zach pressed some numbers on the pad and scanned his thumb. Penthouse, of course he's too rich to be living with everyone. I remember my mom always tells me, rich people cannot be associated with poor people.  I wonder if he is just like my family: arrogant just because they advantage from everyone else. The doors opened and my eyes widen at the space of his place. Its breathtaking.

The place screams the words bachelor and wealthy. There is a dark classic piano sitting in the corner of the room, glass is surrounding the place giving you a fantastic sight of the city. Wow.

"You can stop gaping" Zach chuckled. He caught me? I blushed and avoided his gaze as he sat on one of the couches. "Sit, let's discuss our deal."

I sat across from him but my eyes keeps on wandering around. It feels like I'm in heaven, the view is very pleasing for my eyesight and so peaceful in here. I also noticed there is no servants walking around.

"We will tell everyone that we were married for almost a year now, but we kept it in private...."

He continued talking and I just stare at him, looking the way his lips moved in every word. If I will be honest, this man is hot and handsome, h&h if I call it.
