Chapter 14 The Betrayal

Starset watched from the corner of the darkness, she could see Eclipse with another dragon. The dragon looked her way but Starset used her camouflage scales (Shes part RainWing) to hide herself and closed her eyes, she didn't need her sight to spy on them just her ears. 

"Oh and Shadow, call me Losttail." Eclipse said before her scales shifted into another color, her muzzle changed shape, and her wings grew longer.

Starset blinked open her eyes and stared in confusion and horror at the spot where her friend last stood. "Ok, then Losttail it is." The dragon who was called 'Shadow' said "Now let's go get that water crystal from the Icewings." He said before turning around and taking flight into the night sky. 

Losttail was about to take off after him but then Starset stepped out of the shadows "Eclipse? Where are u going?" Starset said pretending not to notice the surprised look on Losttail's face when she turned around. 

"S-Starset I can explain!" Losttail said in a rush before Starset could attack.

"You've explained enough Eclipse" Starset said underneath a growl.

Starset held back preparing to shoot a flame towards Eclipse, and before she could avoid it Starset let it go shooting out a deep redish-black fireball at blazing speed. She thought she hit her but Eclipse flung her talons forward and shot a blue blob back hitting the fireball and extinguished it scattering drops of the blue liquid everywhere. In surprise Starset stumbled back, dazed on the ground.

"Sorry Starset, but this is my destiny." Losttail said before turning around and flying off into the night sky after King Shadow.
