"Wise men say..." She sang softly, humming along the song, smiling so sweetly. She glanced down at the tiny little troll looking up at her, enhanced by her beautiful singing. She held her daughter gently, caressing her soft cheek and looking into her soft green eyes. "Only fools rush in, but I can't help falling in love with you..."
"Hey mother? Like in the books, do you think I'll find my Prince Charming?" The little troll asked her mother, innocently. Her mother giggled softly, brushing a lock of hair and carefully bringing it behind her daughter's ear from her head. "Oh sweetie, you're too young to know about this. But... let's just say, you will soon find the one."

"And... done!" She told herself, holding up a scrapbook that was slightly... raggedy. Lake saw the disappointment from herself, sighing as she set the scrapbook aside, sighing to herself as she stared out the window. Every troll were enjoying themselves, singing, dancing and hugging... they were happy with their lives.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Lake told herself, smiling ever so widely. Just looking at the sight of them being happy, it filled her with joy, it was important to her, it just... felt right. She wondered to herself... if she would ever be happy? Forever?
All of a sudden, she heard a knock though her door. Lake turned around, raising an eyebrow. Ever so slowly, she walked up to the door, carefully reaching for the knob and slowly turned it counter-clockwise. But as she opened it, Aster screamed. "Lake!"
"Aster! Phew, it's just you. You scared me." She chuckled, laying her hand on her chest where her heart was, feeling it beat really fast like a cheetah. Aster blames himself for a moment, but ignored it for a while. "Sorry, but you gotta see this!"
"It hasn't been hours before this happened, but... but we found a body along the river. She's unconscious. Luckily, they brought her to a hospital on time." Aster explained as they were walking down the stairs connected to the tree from where Lake's pod was and her neighbors, it was a long trip down to the ground. "She has hair just like yours. Any chance you know her?"
"W-What? Hair like mine?" She questioned, bringing her long blue hair to the front, brushing it with her fingers carefully. Afraid to answer, Aster nodded. Lake froze for a moment, looking down as if she realized something. Aster stopped his tracks as well, he turned around and looked at Lake, concerned. "You alright? You coming?"
"O-Oh, uh, yeah..." Lake mumbled, following Aster as she just stared down at her feet, her mind completely occupied just on the thought of that mystery girl.

Lake and Aster ran up the Branch and Poppy who were standing by a hospital room, by the number 23. Aster inched forward to the blue and pink trolls, curious. "How's she doing?"
"She's alright. The doctors say that she's gonna wake up soon." Poppy replied. Surprisingly, she seemed... sympathetic.
Hours passed, Branch and Lake were waiting on a bench nearby the room. Somehow, Lake stayed quiet the entire time, which of course, made her close friend, concerned. Branch glanced at her, slightly tilting his head. "Everything alright? You seem... stuck about something."
"It-... it's alright, don't worry about me. I'm just... curious about the troll, right now." Lake answered straightly, partly hiding the truth from one of her most trusted friends. Lake looked back at Branch now, smiling ever so slightly. "So... how did it go?"
"Oh, it went... alright. Except, I really didn't tell her." Branch replied to her, rubbing the back of his neck, embarrassed about earlier. Lake just smiled and patted his back to comfort him, wanting to embrace him. But she figured that now's not the time for that.
Just then, she heard a voice from inside the room, both of the blue trolls figured the troll woke up. They quickly entered the room without knocking, seeing a turquoise colored troll, with sky blue hair slightly tangled, with her bright blue eyes that looked lost. She stared at Branch and Lake from her bed, scared. "Where... where am I?"
