warm coffeefilled my senses with pure joy. as a coffee fanatic it was heavenly. i ordered a simple latte with one shot of espresso and sat myself at a booth in the far corner with my introverted mind and a book in my other hand.
"buenos dias." i suddenly heard somebody say, but i kept my head low and minded my own business.
that all changes when i hear footsteps coming towards me. whoever it was gonna be i still felt the anxiety that sat at the pit of my stomach bubble up.
when i finally had the courage to look up, much to my surprise it was a beautiful girl. it was usually creepy old dudes.
"h-hi." i managed to stutter out. a soft smile pursed on her lips as she looked down at me. nervousness scatted all over her perfect features as she began to speak.
"hey uh, this might sound weird but i couldn't help but notice uh-" her words jumbled through her mouth cutely. a giggle escaped my lips as she infatuated me.
"what are you trying to say love?" i said, a jump of confidence filling my aura. she took a breath as i was all ears.
