Yoongi leads me back to the front of the casino where we'd entered. There are a few people chit-chatting and getting some fresh air for themselves. It's a bit chilly out, but luckily I was at least prepared for the weather with my jean jacket; and thank god my skirt is knee-length. I can't believe some of the girls out here are wearing dresses that stop a mid-thigh.
I'm not exactly sure where Yoongi and I are walking to, but I keep an eye on our location to make sure we're still near the familiar lot. We walk along the long sidewalk that wraps around the casino and it is pretty much empty now, having the peace and quiet all to ourselves.
I snap open my clutch to retrieve my chap stick since the slight wind and cold is making my lips chapped. As I peek into my bag, I see my lit-up phone filled with many text messages-of course they're all from Namjoon.
Where are you?
Is everything going okay?
Why aren't you answering me?
Are you alright?
Answer me.
Where are you???
I know I should text him back, he'll most likely be unhappy if I don't. But I don't want Yoongi to eavesdrop, I know he's eyeing myself looking into my bag right now. Why does he have to be so nosy? I unlock my cell and reply to Namjoon anyways, but keep it hidden inside my clutch so thatYoongi isn't able to see.
'I'm fine, we're at a casino. I need to go, be home soon,' I text back.
I jump just as I lock my phone when I hear Yoongi's husky voice.
"What are you doing?"
I quickly act like I wasn't doing anything on my phone and take my chap stick out. I apply some to my lips without giving eye contact to Yoongi. I look to the side only to see the brick wall of the casino building, so I know we're still near the parking lot.
"Did you hear me?" Yoongi lowly asks, his eyes are burning into the side of my head.
I pop my lips together after smearing the lip balm across my lips, then place it back into my bag. After closing my clutch, I look forward and pretend to ignore him. I notice that we're now at the back of the casino, no one around. There is a giant dumpster next to a rusty door and only one flickering, dim light shines light around us.
He lightly grabs my arm and turns me to face him. His touch was gentle (other than the reaction I recieved from it which was harsh), but his expression is the complete opposite. His face is taut, eyebrows scrunched down and lips pressed together. His voice is gruff, and I can tell he is annoyed.
"Yes, I heard you," I finally answer.
"Then why didn't you answer me?"
His rude questions throw me off a bit. He seemed so chill the first part of the night, and he seemed like he tried a little too hard, like he was desperate, when he showed up at my doorstep begging for my acceptance. Now, it's all like a game, some act. Maybe he's bipolar...
I highly doubt it.
I look up at him with tremulous eyes then quickly but carefuly think of an answer, hoping my chosen words are the right ones.
"I was looking for my chapstick."
"I saw the light shining in your bag. Your phone."
I silently gulp and try looking anywhere but Yoongi, but it comes to no use when his stare is hard on mine.
"Don't tell me you texted someone to come pick you up." His eyes changed from frightening and annoyed to needy and slightly hurt. He has to be bipolar.
