Love is Electric

This story takes place after book 7(spoiler if you don't want spoilers close this now)

Michael POV

It had been 2 years since our defeat over Hatch. We still hadn't located Kylee and Bryan, but they were not really a threat now that their leader was dead. I still couldn't get over the fact that I had come back to life. My friends tried their best not to bring it up or feel weird around me, but every once and awhile one of them would pinch me or just touch me to see if I'm real. That is the few friends that I still saw on a regular basis such as Ostin, Mckenna, Nichelle, and Ian. All four of them had decided to visit more often.

Nichelle and Ian were living in pasadena now and were dating for the last year and a half. We were all so happy when they stopped sneaking around with their love and made it public.

Ostin and Mckenna lived in Cambridge so that Ostin could attend his dream school Harvard who automatically accepted his entry which surprised not one person.

On this day me and Taylor were on a walk together in the woods near one of the newly instated ranches it was three whole days till my birthday and since we all celebrated it on the a same day we were going to all meet at the ranch for the first time in 6 months. (Also in this story Michael and all the other electric children are just turning 20, Jack is 24, and Ostin is 21.

Yeah we were all a little giddy about meeting up after so long. I couldn't wait to see all of my life long friends again. Me and Taylor continue to walk in the forest when suddenly a man jumps out on us with a gun pointed at taylor. "Give me all your money," he stammers " otherwise I shoot the girl." I look onto him in pure down to the bone hate. I mean i'm perfectly fine having a gun pointed at me but if anyone ever threatens taylor i completely lose it. So as i get ready to pounce knowing full to well that it would take a lot more than a bullet to kill me after i had basically became    a god after being suck by lighting.( read books 6 and 7 to understand) but before i can his face changes from nervousness to completely confused just before taylor socks him in the nose and he blacks out. I have to admit the girl can throw a mean right hook.

We call the police and then we wait until they arrive. I lat down by a tree next to taylor and seat my head in her lap. She strokes my hair running her delicate fingers through my messy black hair. I look up to see her staring at me I give her a toothy and lean up to give her a kiss, she leans in to do the same at the exact time police sirens come into earshot. "The timing of these things", I mumble. Getting a small giggle out of taylor I blush as red as a tomato she wasn't supposed to hear that. The officer approaches us and asks what happened. We explain that this man attempted to mug us so I had to subdue him. ( I know that taylor subdued him, but I more masculine and look as if I can fight while taylor on the other hand is a beautiful young lady with a curvy body and small smooth hands). He would have never believed she could does. He continue to ask about what happened until the final detail then he pick up the mugger and carries the man to his car. He then realizes he forgot to retrieve the weapon, so he asks me to go retrieve it. I immediately see it in the spot the man was just at. I walk back to the car at a normal rate, but start to slow down when I hear voices coming from the car. I look out from the shadows that the trees give to see taylor and the officer in a conversation. I continue to watch until I see the officer is flirting with her. I feel blood rush to my face in anger, but when I see taylor turning him down I feel a deep love for that girl. The officer on the other hand won't take no for an answer, he grabs both of taylor arms and cuffs her hands together he then pushing against the car kissing her neck. I need no further motivation I bust out of the forest and walk slowly toward the guy, he looks back at me and smirks starting to turn back toward taylor. As soon as he starts to turn around I break of into a sprint. He turns around gun in his hand with his finger on the trigger. "Don't you dare take another step or I will shot", he says with a smug attitude. I look at him with level eyes as  my body becomes a vessel for pure energy and sparks begin to fly off my body. "You do not realize who're messing with", I say steady. His body begins to shake as he takes his gun off of me and points it at taylor, that was my breaking point. Anybody can hurt me, but nobody hurts taylor. As fast as lightning I shoot over there and grab his shoulder touching it lightly, so he passes out. As soon as he falls taylor slumps and I lower my electricity to catch her. She lays her head on my chest and cries. I whisper, "It's o.k, It's o.k." I call another police and this time it's a women. I explain the entire situation and she sighs saying she'll be right there.

It takes the woman at least 10 minutes to arrive at the ranch seeing as how it is far off in the country side. When she arrives she takes the man and throws him in the car. She then calls a tow truck to pick up the other officer's car. She then walks over to me and apologizes to me and Taylor I say it isn't her fault and she say why not she and her boyfriend treat me and Taylor to dinner. I accept out of politeness and she introduces herself. "Hello i'm Clarissa Fraychild"
