~ Chapter 12 ~

~ Alex's POV - Two Weeks Later - Payback ~

Dean and I have been together for around two weeks now, and I have to admit, I like being with him more than I thought I would. Don't get me wrong, it'll take some time to get used to this side of Dean, but I don't miss the constant bickering and asshole-ishness from him either. Anyway I need to focus on my boys and their match with Evolution tonight. "You should get ready for your match Lex, it's the one after Bo Dallas and Heath Slater. Which is next" Seth reminded me like a thousand times. "Yeah, yeah, and for like the thousandth time, I know" I playfully rolled my eyes and got up, grabbed my bag and started changing.

~ Alex vs Alexa Bliss - The End Of The Women's Championship Match ~

I brushed my hair out of my face and bounced off the ropes. I hit her with a nasty close line, then leaned down and grabbed a fist full of her hair and slammed her into the turnbuckle face first, giving her a bloody nose. "Come on Alexa!" I taunted grabbing her arm and threw her into the other turnbuckle. I was finally get the upper hand when the sound of a clock ticking sounded through out the arena. Evolution. I was thrown off guard when only Randy came to ringside, I frowned and opened my mouth to say something but Alexa rolled me up in a small package. "1! 2!" I kicked out right as the Refs hand came down for the third time.

I backed myself into a corner as Alexa started arguing with the Ref on the count. I looked around the ring for Randy but saw Dean instead. I glanced at Alexa throwing a fit in the ring then at Dean with a small frown. 'Don't worry about him' He mouthed, I nodded and turned my attention back to Alexa, who was now back to her feet. I smirked and 'roared' like Roman does before spearing her. I quickly went for the cover "1! 2! 3!" The Ref's hand slapped the mat. Dean came into the ring and raised my hand as I was handed the title and announced the winner. The Shield's music blared through out the arena as I followed Dean through the fans and back to the locker room.

"Congrats champ" Seth high-fived me "One down, three to go" I smirked, the guys gave me a confused look, I sighed "Evolution. I won my match, now you guys get to beat the hell out of the three members of Evolution" I gave them a 'duh' look. "Gotchya, are you coming to ringside?" Roman asked zipping up his vest. "Of co-" "Nope, you're staying back here" Dean interrupted me. I frowned "Why would I do that? I'm apart of the Shield, therefore I WILL be at ringside" I said with a little more attitude than I intended. Dean gave me a small glare "Fine, but if you get RKO'ed again I don't wanna hear 'My neck is killing me'" He mocked my voice making Roman and Seth chuckle. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my vest and cargo pants.

~ No One's POV - Shield VS Evolution -End Of The Match ~

The match descended into a brawl throughout the arena, where Orton attacked Ambrose and Triple H hit Rollins with a TV monitor. Evolution performed a Triple Powerbomb through a broadcast table on Reigns. Ambrose and Rollins fought with Evolution in the entrance way, where Orton hit a Belly-to-Back Suplex through a chair on Ambrose and Triple H executed a Pedigree on Rollins onto a chair. Back in the ring, Batista executed a Spinebuster on Reigns, and all three members of Evolution hit Reigns with kendo sticks whilst he was incapacitated on the steel steps. Alex grabbed Randy's arm, big mistake there, she was RKO'ed on the spot. A short while after Roman got enough momentum to execute a Superman Punch on Orton, but was hit with a chair by The Game.

Evolution fought with The Shield in the entrance way again, where Rollins leapt off the Titan Tron onto Evolution. Reigns executed a spear on Batista, allowing Rollins to eliminate him. Ambrose hit Orton with a chair and executed Dirty Deeds onto the chair to eliminate him. Triple H hit a low blow on Ambrose and attempted a Pedigree but Reigns hit him a Superman Punch. Batista executed a Spear on Reigns and Orton passed Triple H his sledgehammer. Triple H went to hit Ambrose with the sledgehammer, but Alex had came to and slid into the ring and grabbed the hammer before HHH could hit Dean. Hunter turned to Alex "What the hell are you doing?!" HHH shouted tugging the hammer out of Alex's hands and shoved her to the mat, then turned back to Dean who was leaning against the ropes. Hunter got the sledgehammer in position to hit Ambrose, but Alex jumped in front of Dean, taking the blow to the gut for him.
