Hey guys, I didn't post a chapter yesterday and I am sorry for that. This is the chapter 4 hope you guys will like it!
Jack's POV
I stood up to go back to the classroom after I eating lunch. "Hey Jack, why don't you stay for a while," said Zoe. "I need to do something. Sorry gotta go," I said. As I just left them in the lunch table, I heard Amy said, "Zoe, Jack didn't didn't tell us earlier that he was gonna do something," They didn't notice that I was just few steps away from them, I just walked back to the classroom.
As I was just turning right to my classroom...Bam!
I bumped to, "Hey!" the girl said. The voice is quite familiar. I quickly stood up and saw the girl's face. Oh, it's just Mads! "Sorry," I said. "It's fine. Next time, just look where you're going," she said. I thought she'd be mad at me, but surprisingly not. Her outfit everyday costs about 500 dollars or so, bumping in to her expensive wardrobe could get your head ripped off. "You're not mad?" I said asking. "Umm... It's just that....." she said. I quickly said, "Long time no see," "Yeah, I heard you have sisters here," she said. I recall in my head, about what Amy an Zoe said to me. "Yeah, they're the same grade as you actually," I said. "What are their names?" she asked, but there was someone who rudely interrupted our conversation. It was Chelsea. "Maddie, I was looking for you!" she said, but she saw me so... "Chelsea, I just bumped in to Jack. We just need to talk for a moment. Is there something urgent?" she asked her friend. "The new brats!" Chelsea exclaimed frantically. I was quite confused who they are, but I have some sort of clue. Maddie is really like that if she doesn't like to a particular person or group. "Mads, um I mean Maddie, It's fine. You can go," I said. "Oh alright, next time," she waved.
As I opened the door to the classroom, I thought for a moment who the girls Chelsea was talking about. Someone called me, so I stopped thinking. "Hey Jack," said Albert. "Hey, sup?" I said. "I just want to ask you about Maddie," he said. "What about her?" I asked.Ring...
The bell rang. He went back to his seat. I thought for a second why would he ask about her, but my teacher called me to answer. "Jack, please come here," Mrs. Bernadeth said, while people are just talking. She is both 7th grade and 8th grade teacher in math. "Mrs. Berna, is there a problem?" I asked really curious. "I recognized your sisters because of their last name, you said last time that you have twin sisters, so I know that they are twin sisters," she said. "Yes, they told me about you. Did they do something?" I said. "Nothing bad. They are smart, I see their potential in math. I just wanted you to deliver to you parents my offer. In this school, people who way above average in math can attend a special class for them. They won't be attending my math class instead, they will join Maddie Harmon and other students for the class. I forgot to give and tell them about this, so here is the paper for class. Your parents can sign here if they approve," she said. I was surprised, but nervous too because of Mads. "Oh sure, it will be a great opportunity for them. They have frequently been above average students," I said.
Maddie's POV
Dismissal time.
I really can't forget the moment when I was with Jack. I kept thinking of him since I bumped to him. It was last year I met him and many things happened.
"Maddie, the new commers really think they are the only one who is smart in the class," Andrea said. I didn't reply to her because I was still confused for what my feelings are. "Hey Maddie, hello?" Chelsea said. "Um, sorry I was just thinking about something. What were you saying again?" I said. "We were just asking if you want to go to the mall with us. We don't have any homework or tests, even if we did we could care less," Chelsea said rolling her eyes. "I can't go, maybe next time," I said. "Whatever, it's the first time you don't want to go out on the first day of the school year," she said, obviously annoyed. "Sorry," I said.Zoe's POV
After we put our books in the locker, we went straight to the gate to meet Jack. "Jack, where is dad?" Amy asked. "He is already on the way," Jack said. Jack seems a little bit confused or what. "Jack, please come to our room later so you can tell us about the losers." Amy said. Jack seems sad or hurt. I told Jack again, "Jack, please come to our room later so you can tell us about the losers. Alright?" "Yeah, sure," he said. "Is there something wrong?" I asked. "Nothing nothing," he said. We didn't ask Jack again. There is dad already, so we went to the car. "Zoe, do you think Jack is hiding something from us?" Amy whispered. "I don't know, he seems sad and a little confused. Let's just ask him later." I said.Did you like this? Be sure to vote and check on the other chapters of the story. I will post tommorow for the next one. Happy Advance Happy New Year!!!
