Chapter 5

In the house

       Jack's POV
             I went to the kitchen to get some food for the three of us. "Jack, get us some drinks too," shouted Amy. I was really confused for what I'll do later because it's like talking bad about my ex-love.

                            Stairs

I opened the door and saw both of them sitting on one bed. "So let's start now," Zoe said while I was putting the drinks on the table. " Zoe, Amy, I had some kind of a crush on Mads or Maddie last year. She studied in this school since nursery, so I knew her already. Of course I was in seventh grade-," I said. "What!?" they both shouted. "Let me explain," I said annoyed. "Fine!" Zoe said. "We were classmates during art class, you guys know I love painting and drawing, so I joined. She was like that to me, the one you guys are saying. She is a type of girl that wants to be perfect, to be loved. She thinks that way. Many things happened between the two of us, we fight, shout, and other stuff. I really didn't like her those times. My friends and I said lots of bad things to her. We even embarrassed her and her friends to people, but she was a popular girl in school, so she wasn't even embarrassed at all," I said. I stopped for a while, I want them to ask because I really don't want to tell them that I was in love to Mads. "So? Are you done already, Jack?" Amy said. Amy is the real one who's angry of Mads, so obviously she will ask more about her. "I need to go. I have homework to do," I said, but it is not true. I quickly walked out, leaving them shocked or what. "JACK!" they both shouted. I heard it, but ran through my door to the comfort of my room.

                    Amy's POV

  "That was weird!" I said to Zoe after Jack just left us. "Yeah, Jack seems kinda happy telling those things. He is like..," Zoe said. "In LOVE!" we both said. "Or not?" I said. "Maybe, but I think yes."

                  10:00 pm

I went downstairs to get some milk and midnight snacks for the two of us. "Amy, still awake?" Jack said as I poured some milk to two cups. "Yeah, Zoe too," I said. "I'm sorry about earlier," he said, but I replied before he was gonna say something. "It's ok, we understand," I said, but not really true. "Did you fall in love with Maddie?" I asked. "Actually, I need to sleep 'cause it is getting late. I might not wake up early," he said. "Why did you go down here, if you will just talk to me?" I asked, really wondering. "I'll get some water, but I changed my mind." he said. "Ok," I said.

As I got some milk with cereal, I went up stairs to our room, me and Zoe's room. We have our own beds in that room, so it is comfortable for us. I opened the door and saw Zoe yawning. "It's getting really late, we haven't slept yet,"I said. "Yeah, by the way Amy, I will not drink the milk because I am so tired already," she said. "Sure, you are always like that! I will just drink half and go to sleep because I don't want to be so full because I will sleep," I said. "By the way, I talked to Jack because he was in the kitchen too. I asked him about Maddie," "What did you ask about her?" she asked. "I asked him if he's in love with Maddie. He said that it is late and he wants to sleep, it is really weird, like when we want to ask him, it is either he will make an excuse or we won't say it because he needs to go and he was sorry about earlier," I said. "He's been acting weird since dismissal," Zoe said. "Yeah, go to sleep," I said, sleepy also.

                  Jack's POV

          After I talked to Amy, I went upstairs and texted my friends.

Me: Guys, I know it's already late, but I have a big problem.
Harvey (first friend I met in Palace Crown School): What?
Daniel: Did you do something illegal?
Me: No! Of course not! My twin sisters are angry at Mads, you know people who are new in this school really hate her.
Harvey: So?
Me: I want to tell them all about what happened to me and Mads last year, but I'm scared.
Daniel: Why would you be scared?
Me: It's just that, they might be you know, angry at me because of what happened last year.
Harvey: your love triangle with Albert and Maddie. Listen, I know you are still in love with her, I saw your face earlier when you bumped into her.
Daniel: Jack, I prefer you to tell your twin sisters about that.
Me: Not tomorrow,  maybe at a right time.
Daniel: Your choice.
Harvey: Tell them, for me that is the right thing to do.

I didn't reply to them and just turn off my phone.

I looked at my phone and saw hundred of messages from Harvey and Daniel.

      6:00am

Harvey: I'm in school.
Daniel: I'll go already.
Harvey: Jack?
Daniel: Jack? It's already 6:00 am!
Harvey: Yeah!
Daniel: Jack, wake up!
Harvey: Jack!
Daniel: Jack.
Harvey: Jackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!
Daniel: JACKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!

           6:35 am
Jack: Sorry, I couldn't sleep last night. Just woke up. GTG.

I heard someone shouting my name from the kitchen. "Sorry just woke up." I shouted. "We're going to be late! Be faster!" shouted Amy. "Okay okay," I shouted back. I took a bath really quick and got dressed.

          Stairs.

"I'm done stop shouting!" I said while going down the stairs. I sat in my chair, ate fast 'cause my twin sisters are done already, waiting angrily at me. "Why did you wake up late?" Zoe said. "I couldn't sleep last night, really sorry," I said. "You weren't like that last year," said mom. I didn't answer my mom and finished my food.

It was 7:05 am already when I finished. We were turning left to school. "Sorry, Amy and Zoe that we need to run later," I said because it's just five minutes until the bell already, "We will talk to you later at home."

    Albert's POV
          The bell rang and Jack just came in. I saw how tired he was running because he will be late, if he didn't run.

I raised my hand to answer for recitation. My teacher called me, people stared at me as usual, but my answer was wrong. Very wrong, I was embarrassed. I can't even look at my seatmates or the teacher. I'm always like that if I am embarrassed. It was the second period, the teacher said it was our free time. So, people started talking, going to their friends. One came to me.It was Jack.
