*Akaashi's POV*
I woke up the next day, feeling better than I had the day before. My eyes were swollen and my ass still hurt but it felt nice to be normal again. I got up. Bokuto-san was on the floor eyes closed, head and hands resting on the bed. He snored softly for once and his eyes were puffy too. He looked like he had been crying all night. I felt sorry for him. It was not entirely his fault. He was drunk. I gently ruffled his hair and stood up, instantly greeted by an intense pain. I tried one step and my knees buckled. I ended up in a heap on the floor. That woke Bokuto-san up.

*Bokuto's POV*
I was woken by a loud dull sound of someone falling. My eyes snapped open and I stood up, looking for Akaashi. "Akaashi...are you okay?" He flinched at the mention of his name. I carefully held him up and supported him on the bed. "I'm fine. I just wanted to take a bath but I fell." "I'm sorry Akaashi. I'm sorry." I felt tears forming in my eyes again. He looked at me kindly. The first time I ever saw a gentle expression form on his face. I piggy backed him to the toilet and placed him on the small toilet stool. I went to prepare a towel and some new clothes for him while he showered. His arms were weak too so I helped him hold the shower head, letting the warm water flow down Akasshi's head and down his back. The bites and kiss marks from yesterday were still visible. I brushed my hand across those marks, heart heavy.

*Akaashi's POV*
Bokuto-san was too quiet and obedient to be comfortable with. He diligently helped me with my bath, hands softly moving across those scars from yesterday. I knew he felt guilty. I'm sure he did not expect to do something like that. "Don't worry Bokuto-san, I'm fine." He lightened up a little, gingerly wiping me dry as if I were fragile and clothed me. I felt like a doll. It was weird.

"You...you know Akaashi. I haven't booked those tickets y...y...yet. I...I won't force you to follow me..." He carried me back to the bed and placed me down. "I would gladly like to do so but I will not go back on a promise I have made."

"But..." he tried to explain but I cut him off by insisting. "I'm sorry Akaashi..." He apologised meekly once again.

Bokuto-san kept deathly quiet, tending to my wounds and feeding me fever tablets and pain killers. He also stuck a fever patch on my head then headed out of the room to let me sort out my thoughts. I could hear some loud clanking noises in the kitchen and the beep of the rice cooker.

Bokuto-san came back into the room with a bowl of porridge. He blew softly at the spoon, lifting it up to my mouth. "Akaashi, do...do you want to eat?" I nodded and he cautiously placed the spoon to my lips. I sipped at the porridge. It was bland. I could only taste the rice. But I was grateful Bokuto-san put effort into doing this, so I just ate. "Thank you." I softly muttered and Bokuto-san lit up.

I ate in silence. The only sounds that could be heard were the soft clink of the spoon when in came in contact with the bowl and Bokuto-san blowing at the scalding hot rice gruel. "Bokuto-san. I've thought it through. I'll be your bodyguard." I spoke up in a soft rapsy voice. "Really?" I smiled weakly at Bokuto-san sitted beside me, and nodded. For the first time for the day, Bokuto-san smiled. He looked adorable. Wh...hat was I thinking?

*Bokuto's POV*
I would never have thought Akaashi would agree to this. I was over the moon. He didn't blame me for anything at all, not yesterday's events, not my daily harassment. I looked at Akaashi with overflowing gratitude. I still felt guilty for what I had done, so I would slowly make up for it. "Bokuto-san..."

"Hmm?" I tilted my head and looked at Akaashi.

"Could you arrange lodging for me when we are back in Japan? I had a disagreement with my family and I really don't want to see them right now."

I nodded my head. "Is it ok if you stay with me Akaashi? I'll just change the arrangement of my study room."

"That's fine. Thank you. And Bokuto-san I would not prefer to be referred to by my surname. That family now has nothing to do with me."

*Akaashi's POV*
Bokuto-san nodded once again. Then he suddenly stared at me "Do I call you Keiji then? Or 白鹰?"

"Keiji will do. It would be weird if you call me by my chinese name in Japan. I'm obviously Japanese afterall."

"Okie dokie, Keiji." Bokuto-san spoke my given name smoothly and easily like it was nothing. My face heated up. It was the fever, it had not subside.

*Bokuto's POV*
Just as the name "Keiji" left my mouth, I felt myself blush. Akaashi, no, Kei...ji had entrusted me with his name. I looked at Akaa-Keiji, there was a tint of red across his face. But in the next moment, it disappeared. I wondered if I was dreaming. I helped K-k...eiji inform the restaurant he took emergency leave for today and the landlord that he was terminating the lease. I went to grab his items from his house and pay cancellation fees. Then, I spent the rest of the day keeping Keiji company. I have to admit, his name needed a bit of getting used to. We watched anime movies together - Your name, A silent voice, and Attack of titans. It never occured to me that Keiji watched anime. He said he only watched sometimes though.

Then I brought him outside for dinner. We ate late dinner at a Spanish restaurant a short drive away from the bund. Then I drove Akaashi to somewhere just after the Yan an east road tunnel, beside the ferry terminal. I opened the door and bowed to Aka...Keiji, offering my hand. "Stop it Bokuto-san, it's embarassing." He had complained, but he took my hand anyways. I helped him up, guiding him to the broadwalk. There weren't many people around. It was 9pm on a Wednesday afterall. It was quiet and pretty. I glanced at Keiji. He stared at the beautiful lights from the other end of the Huangpu river as we sat down on the docks. "Pretty isn't it?" Keiji nodded, eyes still glued at wonderful view. He looked beautiful against the midnight blue sky. We had already spent an hour there I think, sitting in silence and absorbing the sights. Somewhere through it, he had started humming a sweet melody. His voice broke off a few times but it was still nice. Today was a great day.

*Akaashi's POV*
I stared at the glowing crescent moon. It was a peaceful and wonderful night. I never expected to have much fun. Bokuto-san now lay against my shoulder, asleep. He was nice sight.

I softly nudged him awake. "Bokuto-san. Bokuto-san. Wake up. Let's go home. Its midnight now." Bokuto-san rubbed his eyes and got up. "Okay, let's go back Keiji." He led me back to the car and drove us back.

For the first time in a long while, I fell asleep, happy.
