joshua hong.
he was that stereotypical shy, silent, smart kid.
and everyone hated it, of course.
his innocence, freedom, self-esteem was gone at such a young, tender age.
he can't believe how people have these high standards when it comes to befriending someone.
all he did was excel in class. sure, he was rewarded with such outstanding honors but why do people despised it?
"joshua hong is a nerd, stay away from him."
"joshua hong is a wimp."
"joshua hong shouldn't be your friend. he's a fatass."
"joshua hong is a four eyed loser."
"joshua hong is a nobody."
"joshua hong...."
"joshua hong...."
"joshua hong...."
"joshua hong? oh he's a.."
"joshua hong."
he heard so many people in school talk shit about him for being such a nerd, a fat kid, a four eyed teacher's pet.
he had everything.
hard working parents
money
mansion
maids
good school
but how come people are so cruel towards him just because of appearance?
why does he have to get bullied, punched, mocked, treated like an animal just because he wears glasses when he was a kid, just because he's a top 1 in class, just because he was overweighed?
and therefore, he learned that it's difficult to love a leaf.
so difficult to love the ordinary.
