"Just shut up." I mumbled.
"I just want to know why you're giving all the power to them if they don't know what happens." Elizabeth smirks. I know she's just trying to annoy me, maybe scare me.
But that's not happening.
"You don't scare me, you know that right?" I tell her.
"I know I don't scare you." she responds. "It's the curse that scares you."
I wish I could tell her that she was wrong; that the curse didn't scare me. But she knows when I'm lying.
She notices that I'm silent, and smiles. "This is why this is a bad idea, Will."
"I know what happens." I repeat. "I control this. I can make this not happen."
She leans forward in her chair. "So do it."
I can't stop it now, and she knows it. My subscribers are already excited about voting for it, they would question me if I called it off. And I plan on keeping this secret.
"I hate you, you know that?" I mutter.
She grins. "You could have stopped me from happening. You didn't."
I know that. It was stupid of me to even consider this, knowing what I'm cursed with.
"And now you're just making it happen all over again. You never learn your lesson, do you Will?"
"Shut up, Elizabeth." I mutter.
"You can't stop this, Will. You're making one happen at this very moment. You are cursed. And you don't have the control you say you do. And you can't keep this a secret for much longer."
"I swear to God, Elizabeth, if you don't shut your mouth I will make you wish you never happened. You got that?"
"And what excatly will make me wish that, Fluke?"
I hate it when she calls me that.
"I think you know, Flizabeth." I answer coldly.
"You can't do anything to me now, Will. You only could've done something in the beginning. But you didn't. You cost someone's lif-"
"I know what happened!" I shout. "Just leave me alone!"
She smirks, knowing she's won this time. "Think about your curse, Will. And think about what happens if you go through with this."
And then she's gone.
