Chapter 3-Rewritten

Hello everyone! I hope your enjoying this story so far! Again I am hoping to update this story every other day until I finish it. I have been thinking and I think I'm going to end this book after the events of the Avengers just so it doesn't get too long. P.O.V Loki

My body ached from head to toe for the first time in a while. To be more precise the last time I hurt this bad was during my fight with my brother Thor. Vegeta is no joke. There is a reason he's the prince of all saiyans. If my father could barely bring the saiyans down then I am in a bad spot right now. I looked over to him from the position I was in. He was slowly walking over to me tauntingly. To be honest he's probably toying with me right now.

'Scratch that he is toying with me. I can feel it.' I thought bitterly.

He probably could have killed me by now. What does he want? As I thought I caught the glimpse of a sleek black aircraft in the distance. It looked like it was just watching us waiting for something but what? At that moment I got an idea.

"Prince Vegeta, how's your father?" I said sharply.

He seemed to visibly stiffen. I knew bringing this up would push his buttons. I smirked inwardly.

'Bingo.' I cheered.

"I guess your race isn't as great as you saiyans make it out to be. Opps. I mean just you, cause you know, they all..." I motioned with my hand across my throat as if I was cutting it.

I smirked wildly as I saw his face contort into one of pure anger. He lifted his hand up and planted his feet.

"How dare you talk about the saiyan race like that! We are warriors!. We nearly wiped out your entire race back then. I was gonna keep you alive so I could get to your brother but ill just have to figure out some other way to do it." He said as his hand started to glow blue and develop a small ball of what I assume was energy in it..

As he charged his attack the rest of my plan fell perfectly into place...Literally.

"Thats enough!" shouted a man in a blue suit as he came down from the sky from that aircraft that was stalking us earlier.

His feet hit the ground gracefully. He held up his red white and blue shield proudly; ready to defend himself. Thanos informed me that his name was Steve Rodgers/Captian America. He was a mortal with superhuman abilities. Not too much of a threat.

Vegeta growled as he lowered his hand.

"Your not even worth my time. I could crush you beneath my feet. Move. Now." He said angrily.

"No. We need Loki alive. We need to take him in for questioning."

So far my plan was working but right now it all depended on how cooperative Vegeta would be. I had little hope that he would be fully cooperative. If things start to backfire I will have to move to a different tactic.

"You know you remind me of Kakarot...I hate Kakarot." Vegeta said as he prepared another blast.

Before things could escalate any farther I executed my plan. I ran forward ready to blast Captian America in the back. In one swift motion he leaped to the side. To my suprise Vegeta didn't catch the blast coming in time. It hit him sending him flying. I went back for Steve. I lunged torwards him with my weapon in hand. He blocked it with his shield while simultaneously planting his feet firmly on the ground so he could throw a punch at me. His fist hit my face with a crunch. I recovered throwing a punch towards him. He dodged it and began getting ready to throw another one but before he could I was hit by a harsh blast to the side. I flew crashing into the nearby stairs. I was expecting the man who hit me to be Vegeta but to my surprise it wasn't. It was a man in a suit made of metal. He flew down and landed perfectly. At the same time his suit started sprouting weapons. It was fascinating. Thanos had told me that his name was Tony Stark/Iron Man. He was a mortal with no powers. Just a suit with super human capabilities.

"Make a move, Reindeer Games." he said in a robotic-ish voice.

I acted defeated. I powered down my illusion I was using and slowly raised my hands up. In the Corner of my eye I saw Vegeta flying my way. He landed with his arms crossed. He looked pissed.

"That was a cheap shot you prick." He shouted at me.

"I still hit you." I said glaring and smirking at him.

"Excuse me but who are you?" Iron man said questioningly.

"My name is Vegeta, prince of all saiyans." Vegeta said Proudly.

Steve and Tony both looked at each other as if they couldn't believe what they were hearing.

"Ha very funny. For real though who are you." Ironman said taking his attention off me.

"I just told you pathetic earthling. I am here because of him." He pointed to me.

"Yea ok well your highness I'm sorry to disappoint you but we have serious business with him so i have to take him into custody for now. You can play with him after." Tony said with sarcasm and boredom dripping from every word.

I could see Vegeta grip his arm a little tighter out of anger but suddenly let go. He looked up to the sky really quickly and then looked back down. Out of nowhere Vegeta flew away without a word.

'He must have felt him too.' I thought.

"Ooookay then." Tony said looking back over to me.

"We have business with you." Steve said as he pulled out some heavy duty cuffs.

Plan B is a success.

Author note- Hello! I just wanted to add this little side note I  just found out. When Tony Stark is talking to Loki he really does say Reindeer Games. I always thought I was just imagining it but I was reading the script and that's what it says.
