|| Chapter 11 ||

Hye-jin's POV 

Early in the morning someone knocked my door which made me wake up 

"Who is it?" asking half asleep 

"Miss Hyejin, you have a visitor. Please get yourself dressed and come in the room of Master Kim" One of my servants said

I fell asleep again while sitting on my bed then my door knocked once again.

"Miss Hyejin, are you awake?" my servant asks

"OH?oh," I said with my eyes sleeping 

Then someone barges into my room and woke me up completely.

It was Grandpa.

"Hyejin, how many times do we have to call you. Taehyung is waiting for you for hours." grandpa said.

"Taehyung?" I said with a sleepy tone 

"What?!TAEHYUNG?" I said again but this time with surprise 

That totally woke me up 

I got up from the bed and went straight to the bathroom to do my morning routine.

After doing my morning routine went to my closet and picked out the prettiest clothes I could wear. 

Wait.

Why would I even dress prettily to him? 

He doesn't even remember me.

So, I end up wearing loose cream trousers and a silky beige tank top. 

Dressing up and putting a bit of make-up, I went to grandpa's room as I was requested. 

Entering grandpa's room, I saw Taehyung sitting beside grandpa, talking and laughing. Which kinda made me smile.

They didn't seem to take me notice so I knocked the door and caught their attention.

"Oh, finally!Princess, come in, come in" Grandpa says, patting the couch beside him

I walked toward the couch and sat.

"As you know Taehyung, he is here today to guide you," Grandpa said 

"Guide me? Guide me to where?" I questioned 

"Well..." grandpa hesitated, "You said you wanted to go out right? To explore Korea, to eat street food"

I remained silent but deep inside I was so excited but I wanted grandpa to finish his word

"So, because I know Taehyung for almost 2 years now and he has earned my trust,  I'm letting you go out."

I jumped, hugging grandpa tightly 

"But!" he added "You have to be only in his sight. Cause if you get lost where would we find you? And if you did get lost that would be your first and last going out from this mansion" Grandpa said soberly. 

WOW.

I can't believe that Grandpa actually would only let me leave this house with that guy, who doesn't even remember me. I said scoffing in my mind

The heck.

But, well, I couldn't say anything. I needed to go out from this 'prison' I live in.

I needed fresh air.

"Fine," I said in agreement and grandpa gave me a slight smile 

"Shall we go? or do you need some time to get ready" Taehyung said to me 

"Hm... I'll just grab my bag in my room and let's go." I informed him

"OK. I'll be waiting for you at the front  gate." 

 "Got it." then went to my bedroom to pack some needed things

I waited in front of the gate of the mansion and Taehyung was nowhere to be found.

Then a luxurious car stops in front of me. As the window of the car slide down, I peeked who was inside and saw Taehyung. 

I went near the car but didn't go inside.

"Is this your car?" I asked

"Ye, it is." 

I didn't want to go by car in the city but I was kinda shy to ask Taehyung to go by bus

"Aren't you coming in?" he asked

"Uhm..." I bit my lips "Is it okay if we go by bus in the city? I really want to go by bus in the city. If it's okay for you." I asked shyly 

"Ah... ok, sure. Just wait for me here, I'm just going to park my car"  I nodded

After parking his car, Taehyung came and pick me up and went to the bus station

The atmosphere was a bit silent which made me a little bit awkward. 

I cleared my throat and took all my courage to ask him why he has forgotten me

"Uh..." and he looked at me which made me a little bit nervous 

"Ye?" 

"I..I.. want-t-ted to ask you about some-t-thing" I stuttered

"Ye?" he slightly nods 

"Have you really forgotten me? W-what I-I mean is that-"

As I asked that question he started laughing 

It annoyed me a little bit 

"W-why are you laughing?" I asked in curiosity 

"Do you really believe that I have forgotten you Hyejin?" he giggled and then looked into my eyes

Everything surrounds me stopped for a moment. I started hearing my heartbeat beating fast as a look at him.

I can't believe it. He still remembers me. I said to my self-belief and happy
