Man, saying goodbye to Jay was hard. Lilas can't stop saying that Cameron and me should get together, is it bad that I want to?

Sophie stop thinking like that!

I still can't believe Piper is gone, we won! We defected her!

All of today's events are really making me tired.

"Sophie, you need to rest."

"No, Cameron."

"Yes. You really need rest."

"I still have things to do!"

He smirked.

"Well, you never said that you didn't need rest. Also, what things?"

He asked me that last part knowing I didn't have anything to do.

Darn!

Make an excuse!

"I... uh... need to make Lilas a sandwich!"

Not good enough!

"Really? I already made her one."

Shit!

Ok, ummmm?!!!

"I need to tuck her in bed!"

"I can do that."

"Ugh, fine! You got me!" I say putting my hands up in defeat.

"Good. Now, go to bed."

Cameron come to me and pulls me into a tight hug, like there's no tomorrow. I hug him back, just as tight.

I smile, with joy, because I am so lucky to have someone like him.

I look at him, staring into those beautiful eyes.

"Cameron! Can you come here!" Lilas said

We break eye contact, we break apart from our hug.

I take a long sigh.

I go to my room and plop myself onto my bed, laying on my belly.

I reach for my pillow, scream into it, taking our fall my frustration.

"Ahhhh" my scream was muffled.

I start to drift into sleep.

I feel the sand underneath my feet, the water on my toes.

I felt like my whole world was bursting with color.
