Chapter 5

Mal POV

" Mel!" I exclaimed as she was about yo leave the room.

" Um...... Yes." She said. 

" Are you OK?" I asked. " Yeah, I'm totally fine,"

" Why?" She asked. " Well,...... You've been acting weird since you came back from the isle."

" Oh I'm sorry!" She exclaimed. " No! No! It's a okay, I mean with work, Jay and other stuff."

She then nodded her head and existed. Well that was taken care off.

When I walked to my locker, I was greeted by Ben, " Hey...... Ben" I said.

" What's wrong? Not happy to see me. Or something," he said looking confused.

" No! No! No! Its just Mel been acting...... Kinda..... Different since she came back from the isle." I finally said.

" I'm sure its just work or Jay," he stated.

" Yeah! You're probably right." I say.

" Yep! Maybe," he said, giving me a peck on the lips.

I just giggle and laughed. " Your a nice girl," Ben says.

" Um..... Ben..... I'm half isle and half Auradon."

" Right........ " he says, emphasizing the word.

" Its time for class," I say. Well I head up to class.

Somehow, I felt like something, was wrong with Mel, but why?

So, I just went to class, Wow! To be honest the class was boring and fairy god mother was always so happy.

There was one problem though, where's MEL?

Mel POV

I cannot believe I skipped a class, I hope no one suspects anything. I headed over to fairy godmother's room to retrieve the wand.

While entering, I couldn't believe, it, the want was right there, as I was about to grab it, I heard the door opening.

Quickly, I went under the bed. Original. " Is someone in here?" She ask. Great going, Mel.

" I mean it if someone's in here please come out." She says. I saw coming towards the bed and she kneeled down, yes indeed, this was the end for me.

Wow! It's so rhyming. Cool. That shall be what my will is all about. My life story, I tried to retrieve, the fairy godmother's want and ended up getting caught, Blah! Blah! Blah! And so on. And so on.

Just as she was about to look underneath I hear a familiar feminine voice call, " Fairy god mother, King Ben is calling you." She says.

" Okay, I'm coming Lonnie." She stars and walks away from the bed. I let out a sigh of relief and sly as a fox and quiet as a mouse I left.

As I was following fairy godmother, someone stopped me by tapping my shoulder, " Carlos! Audrey! " I exclaimed.

" What are you doing here? We've been looking all over for you." Audrey squid concerned.

" I didn't want to say anything but I feel a little under the weather today." I say, hoping tell by it. " Why didn't you tell us." Carlos said with a smile. " I didn't want you guys to worry."

Audrey and Carlos looked at me and giggled and Carlos carried me bridal style. Its shows like they really do care about me. But! That! What Mal did! I will never forgive her!.

They gave me cough syrup and I made myself get fever. The doctor attended to me and Mal and Evie came, " You alright, I was so worked, Mel." Mal said hugging me.

" You should have told us." Evie states and Jay comes in, " Mel, baby you alright." I nodded my head and blurted, " You see that's why I didn't want yo tell anyone, you guys get so worried, I'll be fine." We all laughed.

The doctor told the read of them, to leave me to get some rest. They all nodded they head and left but not Jay. He gave me a smile and a peck on the cheek and a hugged before he left.

I can't believe, I failed again and also it looked like Jay and !all never dated. I mean, if they dated why are they still, well. Friends. I mean there supposed to be furious. Right.

But....... Uh! I don't know I feel kinda guilty. What if Uma was lying or Mal. I can't tell but you know what I need that wand by tomorrow.

" Everyone was in class and as I was about yo leave, Jay came in, " Hey babe." He said. I smiled and he came and sat besides me, " How you feel?" He asked. " I'm fine, I guess," I say giggling.

Then he chuckled and we leaned closer into a kiss. With my arms around his neck and his hands on my waist. After I hear the door opening, quickly I pulled away. He chuckled and I touched my lips.

" Oh! Hey Jay. " Evie said." Mal send me to check on Mel." She said. "You okay?" She asked. "I'm fine." I said. Then she left giving me a a smile, and Before Jay left he gave me a peck on my head.

I love him though, he understands me perfectly. He is the best. Yep. He is.

Well, class was over for them and I still didn't get the wand uh. Then, I know I couldn't pretend to be sick anymore people constantly, visit me so I told them my fever was gone and headed to class.

Later that afternoon, Everyone was there, and fairy godmother announced, " There will be a dance tomorrow. " to be honest that was unexpected.

That means everyone had to get a date. Jay asked me and I couldn't refuse. Doug asked Evie, Ben and Mal of course, Lonnie and Alex, Jane and Carlos, Chad and Audrey.

While everyone was dancing, Ben went to the mike and he announced, " There is something special, I would want yo say to the most beautiful girl, I ever loved." I could see Mal smiling.

" I love her deeply," he said and he walked up to her and he said loudly, and he went down on his knees. I saw a tear slid down Mal cheek. " Would you do me the honour of becoming my bride."

Mal gasped and smiling and of course crying, " Yes!" She shouted and Ben picked her up and spun her around.

He placed the most beautiful diamond ring on her finger and everyone clapped, and I felt someone hands wrapped around my waist.

When I turned around, it was Jay, I could not help but giggle though. "Yeah! That's my girl!" Evie shouted. And everyone couldn't help but laugh. Including Mal and Ben.

I was pretty happy for them, though. That gave me a easier way to steal the wand.

Will there be a happy ending? Will Mel turn good? I know so many questions right. Anyone who is a descendants fan know that Mal and Ben were destined to be together.
