A few weeks later Yoongi walked out of the store after finishing his shift, only to see that Jimin was waiting for him outside.
"What are you doing here?" Yoongi asked, a small smile making it's way on to his lips.
"We're going for ice cream." Jimin announced.
He grabbed Yoongi's hand without warning and dragged the older after him.
Yoongi looked at their hands in confusion.
Why in the world did he not feel the urge to pull his hand away? He felt something, that's for sure. But it was a warm and happy feeling, not anxious and terrified.
"What are you smiling about?" Jimin asked.
"I wasn't smiling." Yoongi huffed, putting on his pokerface.
"You were. It was cute."
The dark haired boy rolled his eyes, but couldn't help the pinkish color that tinted his cheeks for a small moment.
"Where did you even get the idea to take me out for ice cream? I wanted to go home and rest. I've been working for 9 hours." Yoongi whined like a little baby.
"Exactly. Ice cream is refreshing after being cooped up in that little store for so long." Jimin smiled.
Yoongi thought about how it was possible for him to just hold his hand so casually.
"I could come to your house for ramen after the ice cream?" The blonde boy suggested, a smirk on his lips.
Yoongi almost choked on his own saliva once again. Was Jimin joking or being serious?
"W-what?"
"I knew you'd react like that. I don't mean it in the way you think I do."
"So you just really want to have ramen at my place?"
"Mhm."
"Okay, sure." Yoongi nodded.
Jimin finally let go of his hand, taking the weird warm feeling from Yoongi just like that.
"Really?" He asked, turning around.
He was walking backwards, which made Yoongi a little nervous for him.
"Yeah, if ramen really is what you want."
"It is." Jimin smiled a little. "And you."
He whispered the last part so quietly that Yoongi didn't even hear it.
"Watch out." Yoongi pointed at something behind Jimin.
The blonde turned around and almost bumped into an old woman. He stopped on his tracks so fast that he almost fell over.
"I'm so sorry." He apologized to the lady.
"It's okay." She smiled sweetly.
Yoongi walked past them, holding in his laughter as Jimin apologized to the lady a few more times.

"Where did you grow up?" Jimin asked Yoongi.
They had been getting to know eachother more while eating some delicious ice cream.
Yoongi looked up at Jimin, hesitating a little.
"I grew up in an orphanage."
Jimin's face softened a little as he heard Yoongi's answer. "Can I ask why?"
"I think that's a story for another time."
The blonde boy nodded, completely understanding the situation. He didn't want to and wasn't going to make Yoongi feel uncomfortable, no way.
"I grew up in Busan, my parents were really loving and supportive."
"Were?"
Now Jimin hesitated a little.
"They passed away a few years back. A car accident." He answered shortly.
"Oh. I'm sorry."
Jimin reached his hand over the table and ruffled Yoongi's dark hair. "Why did the mood go down so suddenly? Come on, we were having fun."
That made the older smile. Once again, he hadn't felt like slapping Jimin's hand away, no. On the contrary. He wanted to hold the beautiful boy's hand and play with his fingers.
"It's already getting dark." Jimin said. "I think that it's too late for me to come over. You should really rest after a long day like this."
Yoongi just nodded. He was disappointed but he also knew Jimin was right. Even though he didn't feel tired at all now that he was with him, he would feel exhausted once he got home.
"I'm still going to be a gentleman and walk you home." Jimin added quickly.
"You don't have to."
"I know I don't, but I want to."
Yoongi rolled his eyes. He had a feeling that protesting wouldn't get him anywhere.
"Shall we go then?" Jimin asked.
He stood up before Yoongi could answer and once again grabbed his hand without warning.
The dark haired boy couldn't deny that he liked the feeling holding hands with Jimin gave him. If this was the feeling they talked about in movies and books- he finally understood why everyone loved it.
They walked out of the ice cream store and Jimin asked Yoongi what direction he lived in and started heading that way, still holding onto Yoongi's hand.
"Do you live alone?" Jimin asked.
"Yeah, what about you?"
"I have a roommate. Taehyung. We're pretty close since we've known eachother for so long."
Yoongi's stomach turned, and not in the good way it had been doing all day because of that blonde boy.
"Oh."
Jimin noticed the sudden change in Yoongi and quickly pulled him closer and wrapped his arm around the other's shoulders.
"You're a weird one." He spoke softly.
Yoongi felt himself blush because of the tone Jimin had used. "Is that a compliment?"
"Mhm." Jimin smiled.
