~No Ones POV~

(This is Hearths Warming in Ponyville)

Hearths Warming! A time for happiness, joy, family and friends. Unfortunately, this wasn't how is was in Ponyville. Ponyville was filled with ponies that had nothing but sad faces, the streets were lifeless and the once beautifully decorated and snowy winter wonderland that usually occurred on Hearths Warming, seem to have never existed. "Everypony!" a royal voice boomed. Everypony in Ponyville rushed to the Town Hall to see Princess Luna, Princess Celestia and Princess Cadence there on the stage (I know voices can't go so loud to make everypony hear, but it's magic! Just role with it, Equestria has no logic okay. It's just magic! Except it). Soon, the entire of Ponyville was sitting in the Town Hall. Even Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity and Spike. "I know all of you are still upset over the loss of the newest princess Twilight Sparkle, but this is Hearths Warming! The streets are supposed to be filled with joy, happiness and especially friendship! I know loosing Twilight was hard, but we have to except that she made that decision to go with Sombra to save Equestria! If she didn't, we wouldn't be alive. We would all be in war with Sombra, most likely! So, let's stop griefing over the loss of Twilight Sparkle, and instead celebrate the way she risked everything to save us, we should wish she will come home soon to a happy and welcoming place filled with light and friendship!" Princess Celestia smiled. She was breathless after that long speach, but not one pony was motivated by it. "But, she might feel we didn't miss her if she sees how happy we are" a pony in the crowd said sadly, and others agreed. "I'm sure, Twilight wants nothing more than all of Ponyville to be happy" Cadence stepped in confidently. Finally, ponies actually started to light up! The room eventually filled with smiles. As soon as the princesses left, all of Ponyville went about Hearths Warming like they do every year. Even the mane 6 were happy (and Spike). "Oh my gosh! I can't believe we didn't think of that earlier!" Pinkie smiled as she bounced in circles before coming to a stop and smiling widely. "Yeah, who knew Twilight would wan' us to stay happy like we always do" Applejack grinned in agreement. "So, what should we do now? I mean, it obviously won't be the same without Twilight, but we should stay happy and do something to stay happy" Fluttershy asked in her soft voice. "I guess we could hang out like we used to do" Rainbow Dash replied in her usual raspy voice. "Works for me" Applejack agreed. "Same here. I already have an idea! What if we all have a nice picnic?" Rarity asked, smiling happily. "Sure, why not?" Rainbow said hastily, but she actually likes picnics and just was hiding it. "Okay, I'll pack the food. Y'all can come in 'bout 5 minutes. I'll also set up a place for us to sit. See y'all later!" Applejack smiled and rushed off to Sweet Apple Acres to get some food for the picnic.

~Skipping to at the picnic~

Once everypony was sitting on the blanket for the picnic, Spike decided to start a conversation. "So, has anypony gotten a new hobby?" Spike asked. "I have! Ain't it obvious though?" AJ laughed, "its trying new bucking techniques to buck the apple trees faster! Y'all have no idea how long bucking apple trees can be" Applejack smiled. 'Why did I have to say it like that? I hope I didn't just make everything awkward for everypony' Applejack thought. "I have a new hobby. It's reading animal books!" Fluttershy smiled. 'Oh no! This probably makes everypony think about Twilight. Why did I have to bring that up? I hope nopony hates me because of that' Fluttershy thought to herself, frowning at the 'why did I bring that up?' part. "I have a new hobby. Twilight taught me new spells for gem finding! It's quite the treat learning new spells" Rarity half bragged half smiled. 'Really Rarity? Did you have to bring Twilight up? Why do you always say the wrong things at the wrong times? I hope nopony hates me now I brang it up' Rarity thought, scowling at herself. "I also have a new hobby! I just love cupcake testing! Twilight introduced it to me last time we talked" Pinkie smiled, trying to say something positive. 'Ohmygosh! Why did you bring up Twilight? Everypony is gonna be sader then ever now. Me and my big mouth..' Pinkie Pie frowned at her thought. "I'm guessing I chose the wrong subject to talk about?" Spike asked, nibbling an apple sandwich. " No, no, no! It's just, we all said the wrong things. I mean, I surely did" Fluttershy 'comforted' Spike through words. "Fluttershy's right" Rainbow agreed. "So, how about we talk about something else instead?" Spike asked, forcing a smile. "Sure darling. How about gems?" Rarity asked. "Not everypony loves gems as much as you and Spike, Rarity" Rainbow laughed. "How about parties?" Pinkie smiled joyfully, "I mean, everypony loves a good ol' party, right?". Everypony, and dragon, agreed. "So, what about parties?" Fluttershy asked calmly. "I was thinking about a party for when Twilight comes back from King Sombra! I mean, it has to do with books but, it could be about leaving Ponyville to save Eques-". Pinkie Pie didn't finish her sentence because when she looked at everypony (and dragon), they all were sighing and frowning. "Never mind. I'm guessing it was to much?" Pinkie frowned. "No. I just think we all are still a bit delicate with talkin' about Twilight at the moment" Applejack sighed. "Okay. I had better get going anyway. I usually close up Sugar Cube Corner early on Hearths Warming" Pinkie forced a small smile before walking off to Sugar Cube Corner. "And I had better get going too y'all. I bet everypony in town is crowdin' up just to get some cider before Hearths Warmin's over" Applejack said before heading off to Sweet Apple Acres. Eventually, everypony said their goodbyes and left, leaving just Spike alone on the picnic blanket. "Oh Twilight" Spike sighed, "why did you have to go?". Soon enough, Spike left the picnic spot too, to go inside before a freezing snow storm hits.

~After the snow storm~

'That was a strong snow storm. I wonder why the pegasi ponies did it so harshly this year? Usually it's quite calm and hardly noticeable. I guess the pegasi are also upset by Twilight leaving and did it harshly to express their feelings. It's either that, or I have no idea' Spike thought to himself as the storm ended. A knock at the door suddenly took him out of his thoughts. "Howdy Spike! I was wonderin' if we could talk for a bit inside?" Applejack smiled as Spike opened the huge crystal doors. "Sure, come on in" Spike replied as he closed the doors once Applejack came inside.

~Skipping to when Spike and AJ are sitting inside the throne room (with that big map)~

"So, AJ, what did you come to ask me about?" Spike asked. "Well, I was wonderin', so you still have feelin's for Rarity?" Applejack asked. "No. I've kinda gotten over the fact that she isn't into me the same way I am into her" Spike responded. "Okay. Well, Spike, can I ask you somethin'?" Applejack asked again, a bit more nervously. "You can ask me anything AJ! What is it?" Spike smiled. Applejack started to tremble a bit, calm herself and started to speak. "Spike, I know you've had a crush on Rarity for a long time now, but, I have to tell you the truth here. So, no bein' over dramatic, ya hear?". Spike nodded and waited for Applejack to continue her sentence. "Well, I sorta have feelin's for ya Spike. I wan' us to be more then just friends. I wan' us to be in a relationship. Spike, your the most handsome, kind, caring and helpful dragon I know. And, what I'm tryin' to say is, will you date me?". When Applejack finished, she was blushing really bright and Spike was too. "AJ...I..I..I will!" Spike smiled brightly. Applejack smiled really bright too. Just then, Spike kissed Applejack straight on the lips. And AJ kissed back. When they broke the kiss, Applejack smiled to Spike and said "I love you more then you know Spike".

~Meanwhile, back at Rainbow's house~

As Rainbow stared out her window, she sighed as the sun went down. 'I hope you'll be here soon Twi. We are all lost without you, especially me! I mean, who can I call an Egg Head now? I miss ya! I wish everypony will die because everypony seems bad in this world' Rainbow Dash thought as she closed her eyes and slept in her cloud bed.

Omg! I finally did this chapter! And yes, I am aware that I did a Spike X AJ ship. I hope non of you guys and girls will hate on me for it! I mean, I think AJ and Spike are perfect together, not Rarity and Spike. But, that's my opinion! We all have our own opinions, but I hope you can all accept mine during this book. And, yes, the next chapter will have some Sombra X Twilight features in it, so be prepared! I hope that this is longer for you guys and girls because this chapter took me over 4 days! And, I'm not putting this book or my new book on hold. They're both being done at the same time, just this one will be done first. Anyway, that's it from me! I hope you enjoyed this.
