forbidden [s.m]

chapter two

it was monday and i was finally starting my first day as shawn's assistant.  i was dressed in jeans and a black tank top as i put a cream colored cardigan over that and wore some tan booties for shoes.  putting my long brown hair up in a top knot and wearing my makeup fresh and simple as i did a small cat eye with my eyeliner along with blush on my cheeks and some brown eyeshadow in my crease for eyeshadow and coating my eyelashes with black mascara.

my phone goes off alerting me that i have a text.  opening it up i see it's from andrew asking to get shawn one of his favorite drinks from starbucks which was a caramel iced coffee.  i text him back telling i will and i get in my car and leave.

as i arrive at starbucks it's not as crowded.  there's only two people ahead of me and then it's my turn.  i order shawn's drink along with a blueberry muffin for him and i get myself an iced caramel macchiato for me along with a yogurt parfait.  i gave him my money and they started working on my order as they handed me the blueberry muffin and a yogurt parfait.  when they called my name i got up and they handed me the coffee's.

on my way to island record, i ate my scone as i drove.  it probably wasn't a smart idea but i was able to eat it before i went in.  

after parking my car and locking it on my way out, i had both shawn and mine's coffee in hand along with his muffin.  opening the door to island records i couldn't help but be a little nervous.  this was my first actual real day on the job and i couldn't mess this up.  

"hey, evelyn right?" he asks me.

"yeah," i smile at him.  "i got you your coffee along with a muffin."

"i didn't tell you to get him a muffin," andrew states in a monotone voice.

"i know you didn't ask for the muffin but i wasn't sure if you were hungry or not-" i start rambling on due to nervousness but get cut off.

"it's okay," he tells me as he laughs.  "i haven't really gotten the chance to eat yet so thank you."

"your welcome."  i give him a small smile and disappear from the room before andrew can get mad at me.

"alright let's take a five minute break and let shawn have his breakfast then we can pick back up here.  evelyn, were going to be going on tour soon so can you make sure the guest list for vip's with the first place were going are all in order and any special guests like friends and family are on the list as well who already told him he's coming?"

"yeah, i can do that."

he hands me the lists of things i need to and i look over them carefully making sure that no one is left out.  i noticed that the first place that he was going to be for his tour was here in los angeles which was pretty awesome.  i knew that andrew wanted me to be with them on tour as well so i was excited to experience being on tour with them.  i knew that there were three choices for the vip's.  

since shawn was finished with his third album and there was a lot of controversy with people leaking his songs, he was finally able to narrow it down to his favorites.  i was pretty bummed about that because none of those songs ended up being on the album because they were leaked and i'm sure they were amazing.

i had spent a little over an hour and a half making sure everything was in order for his los angeles concert before i handed the papers back to andrew.

"thanks.  also shawn has a website full of merchandise on it.  can you make sure those shipments get sent out today?"

"yeah, no problem."

"also shawn is doing an interview with a radio talk show tomorrow at noon can you call them to make sure they're still on?"

"yeah, of course.  what's the station?"
