Thinking to yourself
"Only 4 more years. I can do this".
Anxiety at it's finest, am I right?
You approach the bus stop, finally.
You put in your AirPods Earbuds, ignoring the yells and commotion of the other kids.
After a few minutes, you realized there was a crowd.
A fight on the first day? Ugh.
You decided to go over to whatever was happening because why not, right?
You pushed your way through the crowd, only to see a boy with blue hair on the ground getting yelled at by this...clown?
Oh wait, that's a girl.
...Anyway,

"Hey!" You yelled. "Leave him alone!"

"No thanks. Have you seen his hair? This school doesn't allow dyed hair! It's unnatural and unattractive!" The clown said.

You looked at her, dead in the eye. He wasn't even that ugly, kinda hot even. And who was she to say those things? Has she looked in a mirror before?

"You mean, like you?" You snapped, smirking.
You heard half of the crowd go "ooooohhh" and it made you chuckle a bit.

"What did you say?" She asked, acting like she didn't hear you. She had a very mad face on her.

"I said," you stepped closer to her, getting in her face as if you were challenging her. "Like. You. Do you need hearing aids or something?"

Unfortunately, the bus came before anything else could happen. While everyone else was getting on, you turned to the boy, helping him up.

"Are you okay?" You asked him.

"Y-yeah. Ey am fine. Tank yew." The boy with blue hair stuttered.

You were about to say something along the lines of "wow, you have a really strong accent"- but then you realized you were in England, not America. You were the one who had an accent.

"We should get on the bus now." You went in front of the boy, getting on the bus and finding a seat. A few seconds later he finds you and asks if he could sit next to you, and if course you said okay. You didn't want him to get bullied more.

"You dyed your hair really good. The dye goes all the way to the roots. It almost looks...natural." You kept getting closer to the poor boy, examining his hair.

"Well.. etc is natural. Ey fell off ah tree when ey was a child. When ey was taken to teh hospital, all meh hair was gone. A few months later, et was growing in blu! Ets been like tat ever since." The boy smirked, as if he was proud of what he'd done.

"Um...okay then. I wish my life was as interesting as yours.." you said looking down at your knees.

"Well, are yew from America? Why did yew move?" He asked, looking genuinely curious.

"Well, it's just me and my dad for now. My dad got a new, better job up here but my mom didn't want to move, so she stayed in America."

The boy just stared at you. "Mom."

"What?" You asked.

"Yew Americans say mum so weird. Moomm" He mimicked you, and all you did was laugh.
After that, you two formerly introduced yourselves. Obviously, your name is Y/n. The blue boys name is Stuart, but you decided to call him Stu, because it was a cute nick name.

As the bus neared the school, you both got your schedules and learned that you both have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd together. You honestly felt glad that you would know someone, because most people already knew each other since they went to the same last school.

You looked at Stu, and thought
"Yeah, he'll be my best friend."
