The New Light

"Where are you?" Jae said yelling as he ran out the building.

"Guess," her voice said ringing in his ears.

"If you don't come here right now I swear I will tell your mom." Jae said searching for her.

"My mom is dead silly," The girl said appearing in front of him. "Stop it at once, don't speak about her," She yelled out.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to. I just-"

The girl began to laugh again, "I'm just joking with you. I had no mom or at least that's what brother says."

Jae got confused and touched the girls shoulder to make sure he wasn't dreaming or anything. The girl slapped his hand and made it sting even if it was a weak slap. Jae got startled and put his hand in his pocket. "Who are you?" He said in a cold tone.

"I don't like your tone. My brother wouldn't either." She placed her long hair behind her ear. She was beautiful. She had long black silly hair and was also pale with soft rosy cheeks. Jae just hadn't noticed due to shock.

"I don't understand what is happening,"Jae said looking at her facial features.

"You are dead. I'm not human. And we are talking simple." She said smiling brightly.

"I get that I'm dead. But what's with the roses?" Jae asked overlooking the second sentence.

"Well the roses? The creator likes them. My dad hates them. He likes weeds. I don't really but I'm forced to like weeds. I'm glad I found you. You are adorable. Black roses are simply amazing. I've never seen one in person. Brother was right you would be a threat." She said observing him. "Oh sorry my name is Min." She said sticking out her hand.

Jae shook her hand and said "Jae." He quickly took away his hand due to the heat. He was a bit intimidated and asked "Why does your touch burn"

"Haha you are slow aren't you. Simple I'm not human. We are completely diffrent."

"Wait if you aren't human then what are you?"

"Glad you finally asked. I'm the Devils daughter."
