Jen's P.O.V

I secretly gave him some of my father's clothes to wear, and we sat in my room, just having a little conversation.

"What was your mother like?" Agony asked, "What do you mean?" I asked back, "I mean when you were little. What was she like then?" he asked again. "Oh she was phenomenal! She was like the perfect mother you could ever ask for." I answered with happiness, remembering those wonderful times I had as a girl.

"And your father?" he asked again. There was a short pause. "My father...well he was..alright. I mean, he used to be an alcoholic..aaannnd he was abusive. It was just towards my mother at first, but then he started abusing me. I was fourteen when this happened. I never thought he would turn to alcohol, I was so curious of why he did those terrible things. Then one time I overheard the doctor saying that he had depression. Me and my mom thought he was going to be okay because he was taking medication. Then one Christmas night, my mom and I came home from Christmas shopping...to find my father dead. He committed suicide.".

Tears were coming down Jen's face, as I just stared at her blankly. Inside I felt emotion, but outside it wouldn't show.

She was now full fledge crying at this point, as I didn't know what to do. I don't really know what to do in these type of situations, especially if there's a girl crying right in front of me, which is happening right now.

"I-I...y-you...umm...". I couldn't think of any comforting words. No one ever said them to me when I was in her mood.
And even if someone did, I didn't get them enough, as I was always crying a lot. Nobody gave a crap about me.

Just then we hear her mother, Ms. Rose, yell her name from downstairs. Jen quickly wipes her tears and gets herself together, before getting up and going downstairs. I followed behind, as I didn't want to be left alone.

I see Jen and Agony run downstairs. "Yes, mom?" Jen said, "Your friends are outside." I reply, as she happily and excitingly rushes upstairs to get her purse. I chuckle, her excitement reminding me of when she a little girl again.

She comes back down in a hurry, "Bye, mom! Nice meeting you, Agony!" she yelled, leaving out the door. I chuckled again, looking at Agony. He was looking down, shyly.

"Come here, Agony." I said, him darting his eyes up towards me and walking to me.

[FYI THEY'RE IN THE LIVING ROOM]

"Sit down." I said, patting the spot next to me on the sofa. He did as told. He was looking down, shyly again. It was silent, so I decided to say something off the top of my head to fill the awkward silence.

"Well..I can see you're all grown up now." I said, laughing a little, as he half smiled and glanced at me before looking back down. Just like always, he's always shy. It's part of his personality. He hasn't changed one bit.

His half smile faded. "Hey." I said, lifting his chin up. "You alright, honey?", "Y-Yes. I'm just not used to looking face to face with people." he said, "I know that. But now that you're free, you gotta' learn how to do that." I said back, letting his chin go.

"I'm so glad they decided to free you." I mumbled, patting his back. He rested his head on my shoulder.
