Jen's P.O.V

I finish changing into my "hanging out" outfit, as I run downstairs to find my mom and Agony talking in the dining room. I smile, knowing that my mother and him are probably catching up.

I give it a couple seconds before interrupting, clearing my throat. They stop and look at me, "Agony, it's time." I say, as Agony got up and ran over to me.

"And where are you two going?" my mom asked, "I'm taking Agony with me to meet my friends. You know, so we can hang out and stuff." I replied. "Oh that's nice! You two have fun now!" she happily said, "We will! Bye, mom!" I said, walking out the door.

"Bye, mom!" I hear Agony say, as I chuckle. He happily skipped out the door.

He called me.."mom". As if I were his mother. Is he like a son to me? Sure! But I don't..call him my son. It would be nice for him, wouldn't it? He would love it. For sure. I'll work on that.

But let's get to my daughter and him. I know they got a thing for each other. I'm happy for Agony, and my daughter too of course, but especially for Agony. He's finally found love. I think he did.
All I have to do is sit back and watch them blossom. Hopefully they will.

Agony's P.O.V

Jen took me to this other neighborhood. I'm guessing this is where I'm meeting her friends. I am pretty nervous, this kind of thing has never happened to me. I'm about to meet and make new friends! So exciting!

We arrive at a huge house. Jen knocks on the door, as it immediately swings open.
A young woman just like Jen, appeared in the doorway.

She was super pale with blue eyes, and she had light light light blonde wavy hair that went down her back. It was long and pretty. "Hey." she said to Jen, then looked at me and back at her, "Who's this?" she asked. "This is Agony. Agony, this is Maddie." Jen introduced.

She looked at me weird. "Come on in." she dryly said, turning around and walking in. Me and Jen looked at each other before walking along. I shut the door.
I seen two young looking guys my age, sitting down on the couch, drinking beer. One of them noticed me, "Hey Maddie! Who's the new guy?", "Agony. That's his name-" "Agony? What kind of name is that?!-". "Guys! Can we not?" Jen interrupted.

Jen continued, "I brought him here so we can all have fun. Got it?". Nobody replied. I guess that meant a "no", or "whatever".

[HOURS LATER]

It's been super fun so far, and her friends seem pretty cool. Sure they were a little rude at first, but that's just the way people probably act when they first meet someone. Right?

We stopped in front of our house, cause Jen needed to use the bathroom, so it was me, Maddie, and Joe and Josh (the two guys from earlier). We were outside waiting for her.

I was sitting down on the sidewalk, Josh sat next to me. It was silent for a minute, then, "'Agony' huh?" he said. "You realize that's a weird name right?" he said, as I just shrugged my shoulders, not wanting this continue. I'm completely sensitive when it comes to this, because of my terrible past.

I kept my attention to the concrete ground. "Please. Just forget my name for now." I said.
"What?" he asked, I looked at him. "Would you like it if I made fun of your name? 'Josh'? Now leave me alone, find something better to talk about, unless that's the only thing you know to talk about. Making fun of people's names and insulting them. You have no class at all." I said back, with a little attitude.

He furrowed his eyebrows, "What the f*ck did you just say?". I froze. He hasn't even done anything yet and I'm already regretting what I said. He grabbed me by my collar and picked me up, banging me against the house wall. I winced in pain of how hard me made my back slam on the hard material.

"Take back what you said, punk!" he sternly demanded. "No! You don't own me! I don't have to take back anything! You didn't take back the rude things you've said to me this evening, so why should I?!" I said back, as he slammed me again. "Stop slamming me!" "Shut up!" he said back.

And just keep in mind that it's night time, so if other people were around they wouldn't really see what was going on, unless they were curious and wanted to check it out. Which I really want to happen.

"You're a little piece of-" "Of sh*t? I've heard all of this before. What else are you gonna' say? Huh? I'm a little b*tch? I'm worthless? Nothing you say, will be new to my ears." I said, as he got angry.

"You know what? That smart mouth of yours will get you no where!" he yelled, throwing me to the floor, and attacking me. Until, "Josh! Stop!" I hear Jen yell, grabbing Josh off of me. Laying on the ground, I sat up, amazed of how easily she grabbed this heavy man off of me.

"What is going on?! I leave the area for a couple of minutes, and I come back to this! Josh, really?!" she yelled. He just leaned against the wall, crossing his arms, "He started it.".

Jen turned to Maddie, who was just standing there, smirking at all this. And Joe who was sitting down on his phone with earbuds in.
"Maddie. Why didn't you do anything?" Jen asked, as she shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know, it wasn't my problem.". "It doesn't matter!" Jen said, looking over to Joe.

She snatched his earbuds out of his ears. He looked up at her, "What'd you do that for?" he asked, "I want you to hear this." Jen replied. Oh no, what was she going to say? "Maddie, Josh, and Joe. Especially Maddie and Josh. Please do not call me, text me or talk to me or Agony for a while. Got it? Let's go, Agony." she said, taking my hand and we walked inside the house. She slammed the door behind her.
