Leia was trying not to cry as her older sister was dying from her wounds. She was bloody beaten, bruised, and burnt. She glanced at her twin. Both 6 year olds knew that their beloved big sister was running on borrowed time.
"Why did you do it?" Leia sobbed.
"Because Leia, I was saving you two."
"But you could have escaped with us!" Luke protested.
"Luke," his sister replied growing tired, "We all know that wouldn't have worked. Besides that how we win now and how you'll win in the future. Saving what we love, not fighting what we hate." Ailsie replied her voice growing burdened and distant. And with those being her last words, she left the galaxy.
*The aftermath of Ailsie fighting off Darth Sidious so that the twins we'll have a chance to escape (I'll hopefully write a back story to this and some of the other's later.)*
Luke turned to Leia miserably, asking, "How do we win? We've been fighting for so long."
"I don't remember much of my big sister but I remember that she once said, 'We win, by saving what we love, not what we hate.'"
"That sounds like something a Jedi would have said. She must have been very wise."
"I have to think you're right Luke."
*A personal moment between Luke and Leia after he loses his arm.*
"Leia we've constantly been fighting across the galaxy, that's how we lost our son. How can I go and fight a battle now that I know I'll lose? How can get him to turn to the Light? Not even Luke could bring our son back."
"Luke's a Jedi Master, but you? You're his father. Besides we win by saving what we love. Not fighting what we hate."
*An extended scene between Leia and Han before Kylo Ren kills Han.*
