Recap: "I have an idea..."

"I have an idea. Mom told me that when u were in a coma she kissed you and you woke up. What if you do that?" I knew that wasn't going to work since I already tried that, but I certainly wasn't gonna tell him that.
"Liam, I am not doing it. We are divorced. If she did wake up she might get upset, and think I was trying to force myself on her."
" Fine. I will just wait. I just wish there was something I could do."
"Liam, does your Mom ever write in her diary anymore?"
"Yeah! All the time, why?"
" I have an idea. Stay here, I will be back in probably 15 minutes."
I rushed out of the hospital and drove to Vilu's house.
(At Vilu's House)
As I dug through Vilu's drawers looking for her diary I came across a photo album, the one from our wedding. I started to look through it, then got in my car with the diary and photos and raced to the hospital.
When I entered the hospital I ran up to the room. As I was passing the nurses' station they told me the doctor needed to speak to me. I told them to send the doctor to the room and I would talk to him. As I was headed to the room the doctor was passing and asked if he could speak to me.
"Sure" I responded. "Mr.Vargas I am worried that there is a problem with Mrs.Vargas' progress. I don't want to scare you, but usually people would have woken up by now. She did have quite a big fall though and could have more damage than we initially expected." "What are you trying to tell me?" "I want to run the initial tests again to make sure she is improving" "Okay but why are you asking me about it and not telling my that she needs more tests?" "These test are more evasive and can reveal a lot of things you might not want to know. I like to advise people to think about it, maybe even wait a few days. I would also suggest talking to her parents about the situation.
"WhAt do you mean by stuff I wouldn't want to know?"
"Well this can reveal the brain status, and because she has been in the coma for this long , and I hate to say but she could be brain dead."
