The Bleeding Car

They say a grey car drives at night in the once quiet town of Tea Light Parks. It has no destination and its driver is never seen. When you're walking down Murphy Street at night you'll hear an engine revving and lights will appear behind you. You'll see your shadow and turn around but nothing will be there. You'll continue on your way, frightened. You'll turn a corner and there will be a grey car with dim lights and a faltering engine. The driver won't be seen but the car will be bleeding. The tires, seats and windows will be covered in a thick, deep, red bloody goo. A hand will break the window through the blood. You'll see his eyes. Oh, his eyes. Fearful and dying. You'll scream be petrified or run. The lights will go out and the image will be gone. No blood, no car and you'll be left with the lit signs of the stores and restaurants and street lamps that line the town's main road. You'll tell someone the next day. They'll believe you. They've all seen it. They say it's the ghost of a teenage boy named Thomas who died in a tragic accident. He was on his way to save one of his girlfriends-he was in a polyamorous relationship but that's not the point (they'll say)-however, he was driving to help her get away from her abusive parents when a dog jumped out in front of him and he swerved to avoid it. He hit a streetlight and died in the car. Right in the middle of Murphy Street before you turn the corner to Royal Street.
It's a common occurrence to see this now. People stop going out after dark alone and tourists will hear the tale if they ask.
