"Good morning, Ma! Merry Christmas!"
"Merry Christmas, Lea!"
It was a busy Christmas morning at the Salonga household as it was Lea's first Christmas in the country after years and Ben for his whole life. Everybody was busy as they wanted Ben to experience the Filipino Christmas.
"Si Ge?" Lea asked. Gerard stayed at their house for Christmas.
"You know your brother, he's still asleep." Her mother answered. "They're still preparing our breakfast pa naman so okay pa naman na tulog pa siya."
"Ma'am Lea," A maid approached her while holding a box, "may padala po para sa inyo."
"Thank you." Lea said as she grabbed the box.
"Were you expecting it?" Her mother asked.
"No." She answered. She inspected the package and looked at the details. The package's from New York.
"It's from Carlos." Lea said in awe.
Carlos Montenegro; Ben's father, Lea's ex-husband.
"Aba, mabuti naman at may ipinadala pa rin 'yang si Carlos para sa anak niya." Ligaya said.
Lea opened the package that revealed two gifts.
She checked the bigger one;
To: Charles
Merry Christmas!
From: Dad
And then the smaller one.
To: Lea
Merry Christmas!
From: Carlos
"Wow, I can definitely feel his sincerety with his gifts." Lea said sarcastically. She then put his gift for Ben under the christmas tree and opted to open his gift for her.
Her mother was watching Lea as she opened the gift.
It was a perfume.
Her favorite Chanel perfume to be exact. It surprised her with the fact that he did not forget her favorite scent.
Even her mother was surprised, "So, ano ang gustong iparating ng ex mo?"
Lea rolled her eyes.

"Look at my dress, mommy, isn't it pretty?" Bea twirled around which caused Aga to smile at his daughter.
"Bea? Aga?" An elderly voice called out.
Both Bea and Aga whipped theirheads towards the direction of the speaker.
"Nanay! Tatay!" Bea squealed as she ran towards her grandparents.
"Oh my beautiful apo! How are you? Nanay missed you so much!" Her grandmother, Tess, exclaimed as she hugged Bea back.
"I'm good, Nanay." Bea replied.
"Aga, kamusta na?" Bea's grandfather, Eduardo, asked as he shook Aga's hand.
"Okay naman po, 'Tay." Aga answered.
Even if he never married Monique, her parents still treats Aga as family.
"It's been some time since we've last saw eachother." Eduardo said.
