The irritable spider drew a gun from her garter and fired, narrowly missing Marney.

"Move!" She demanded once more. "I can almost guarantee I won't miss a second time."

Calvin drew his own gun and aimed it at the spider.

"Hey!" he yelled, upset about the new bullet hole in the wall of his home. "The only one who's allowed to shoot anything around here is me!"

Marney grimaced at this.

"Is that so?" The assassin chuckled before vanishing from the naked eye, only to reappear behind Xecilious with a knife drawn an pressed firmly against the young Mantid's throat. "How about a little swordplay?"

"Not in my house. You get any bodily fluids on my couch or my floor and we'll be having a problem."

"Fair enough." The spider said with a slight smirk before turning her attention to the red bug before her. "Get up."

    Xecilious did so.

Marney stared at Calvin in disbelief. Yes, he knew Calvin could be rude and a bit selfish, but he'd never been this bad. Calvin, however, didn't seem to notice.

"Rightful King of the legendary lost  homeland of Zyro..."

Xecilious turned his attention to the darkly tanned six armed woman before him. A jumping spider of some variety, but her uniform suggested that she's was one of the militaristic ex-general's goons. The young Mantid grew weary at that realization. She was more likely to be a foe, more so than a friend. She was, after all, holding a long jagged dagger at his throat and pressing it down on across the kid's most vulnerable portion of his neck.

Xecilious gulped, causing the sharp blade to draw a bit of blood.

The spider grew impatient with the teen's hesitance as she shook her head.

"Coward," she growled as she withdrew the short yet dangerously sharp knife.

Xecilious praised the Queen as she did so, but then winced at the pain she had caused around a vital area of the Mantid's throat. Slowly, he reached for the area. And blinked of the sight of his own blood.

"Yellow-bellied dung beetle," she said with the roll of her eyes. "Why can't you die honorably like your frail and pathetically poor father?"

"Y-You knew m-my father?" Xecilious  sputtered as his bright green ooze from his wound as another vital blood-like vessel began to fill his mouth with the substance it held.

"Yes, but that's not important now."

"W-What was h-he like?"

"Shut your trap and focus or I'm gonna start slicing of extremities!"

"B-But I n-ne--!"

The spider and heard enough had slapped hand over the teen's mouth.

"Enough outta you!"

Xecilious squirmed in what little room the assassin allowed as she pinned him up against the wall. He raised his voice to protest, but even the loudest of yells would've been indistinguishable from any other muffled grunt.

"Look kid, all I need is a limb or two."
