Chapter 1: The Car Ride to the Cabin

“Can we go yet?” Niall asks whiningly.

“For about the 30th time Niall, we can’t leave until my dad gets back from work! He will be here any minute now.” I say trying not to get annoyed. Yeah having the boys all wait in my small house for my dad to come home so we can all drive to the cabin together, was not turning out to be a very good plan.

We are all sitting in my living room watching some TV. Cupcake Wars I think we’re watching. I don’t know some cooking show. Louis and Eleanor are sitting on my small couch, Harry, Niall and I are sitting on the floor because there is not enough room on the couch, Paul is off making some calls, and Liam and Dani are who knows where doing what I assume is a twitcam.

“Fine then, I’m going to get a snack. Anybody else want anything?” Niall asks heading to the kitchen.

“Niall you just had a snack a minute ago!” Harry says laughing.

“Well I’m hungry and watching Cupcake Wars isn’t helping!” He says digging through my almost empty fridge. He comes back with a big bag of frosted animal crackers and a coke.

“Fine we can change it.” I say grabbing the remote. “How about……. I don’t know…. El, you can pick.” I say tossing her the remote. After a while of flipping channels Louis yells out,

“Pretty Little Liars! Yes! I love this show!” We all agree and we start watching it. About a minute into it we all get sucked in and no one says a thing because we are all so focused.

“I KNOW WHO A IS!!!” Louis suddenly shouts out.

“Lou! Don’t ruin it for us!” Eleanor says laughing.

“Oh fine, but I know I’m right!” He says excitedly which makes us all laugh.

Then all of a sudden we hear the door open and we all turn to see my dad. Louis immediately runs to him and screams,

“Daddy, Daddy! You’re home!!!” Which makes us all burst out laughing, almost to tears.

“Yes, hello to you too Lou.” My dad says smiling. “Is everybody ready to go?” He asks.

“YES!!!” everybody seems to say at once.

“Well ok let’s go!” He says. “You remembered the snacks this time right Niall.” He says remembering the last road trip when Niall had no snacks, let’s just say it was a train wreck.

“Yes I did!” Niall says holding up almost a duffel sized bag.

“Good! Let’s go then!” My dad says while everyone seems to run out the door.

“I call backsies!” Niall and Harry say almost in unison. Because we have so many people, we have to take a 11 person van!

“I guess I do too!” I say while putting my luggage in the van. Then I sit in-between Harry and Niall. After we all get settled in, it’s Harry Niall and me in the back, El and Lou in front of us, Dani and Liam in front of them, and in the very front is my dad driving and Paul in the passenger seat. This is going to be a crazy car ride!

“Turn on the radio!” We all plead my dad. He does, and of course this starts blaring through the speakers,

“You’re insecure. Don’t know what for. You’re turning heads when you walk through the do-o-or!” We all start scream-singing in our worst possible voices to the boys’ song. After it was over we all start laughing at how terrible we all sounded.

After that we take funny pictures and post them on our Facebooks all while Liam is having yet  another twitcam. We do this while still rocking out to the radio and laughing our heads off.

Then after a while Niall starts to complain about how hungry he is (I think we are all hungry, but Niall sure does express his hunger the most). So we stop and go through a Mc Donald’s drive-through. Our final order came out to be, 12 Big Macs, 4 regular hamburgers, 6- 10 piece Mc Nuggets, 7 large fries , 2 salads, 7 large pops, 2 waters, and 9 ice cream cones. Yep those boys could really eat! I came close to beating Liam though! But, he got me by a whole hamburger. But I definitely was nowhere close to beating Niall! He can EAT!!!  That finally soothed Niall’s bottomless stomach so we didn’t have to stop for food again.

After, we play one of our favorite car games. Quick Fire questions! We start playing and we all laugh at each other’s funny questions and funny answers. We got through almost everybody and it is Harry’s turn to quiz me.

“Ok Lila, are you ready?” Harry says  smiling

“You know I am!” I say with a focused look on my face.

“Ok go!” he says. “Favorite color!” He yells out.

“Oh hard one…. Umm pink! No purple! Wait no blue! Gosh, the whole rainbow!” I say franticly

“You never really answered that!” He says laughing “We’ll move on anyway! Ok favorite kind of food!” He says getting back to being serious.

“Umm Chinese!” I say after a second of thought.

“Favorite kind of cat!” He says laughing.

“Uh, the fluffy ones I guess!” I say kind of confused

“Ok last question,” he says “Which one of us is your favorite?” He says with a mischievous smile on his face.

“You know I can’t answer that! I love all you guys!!!” I say franticly.

“Owww!” They all say while Harry and Niall give me a big hug because they’re the only ones who can reach me.

“We love you too Li Li!” all the boys say. They call me Li or Li Li sometimes. I don’t even know why.

Then we went back to singing to the radio and laughing about random things. Then my phone buzzes. It’s from Ben.

Ben:) : Hey baby! How’s the car ride?

I write back,

Me:  Haha good. The boys are acting crazy as always! :)

Then he texts back,

Ben:) : Don’t have too much fun without me!

Then Harry sees me texting and grabs my phone and starts texting,

Me: Oh I will! I’m going to go party all night long, and go skinny dipping with the boys every single night!

Then I grab my phone back from him after I smack him on the arm to see this,

Ben:) : WTF!!!! Lila please tell me you’re joking! You are not like that! If those boys are making you like that, some things need to change!

Then I franticly text back,

Me: OMG NO!!!! Harry was being an ass, stole my phone, and wrote that! That was not me!!! Wait, you said then we needed to change things? They are not doing anything to me! and even if they were, you would be able to do nothing about it! They are my friends and are just as important to me as you are!

Then after a while he texts me back,

Ben:) : Ok whatever Lila, no need to freak! I gtg, ill text you tomorrow, please don’t be mad, I love you.

Then I text him back,

Me: Ok, love you too babe.

I sigh and throw my phone into my bag.

“What’s wrong Li? Is it the text?!? Did he do something to you?!? Lila please! You can tell me!!!” Harry says worryingly while everyone else carries on with singing loudly obviously not noticing.

“It’s fine, really it is.” I say quietly “Just NEVER do that again!!!!” I say playfully hitting him in the arm and laughing.

“Ok Li.” He says smiling. “But if anything was wrong you would tell me right?” He said more serious.

“Of course I would Harry.” I say smiling to him.

“Good.” He says smiling again. “THIS IS MY JAM!!!” He says while singing along to “Wild Ones”.

We drive for a while longer, singing, laughing, and doing random things really, until we all slowly drift off to sleep……
