Jillian P.O.V.

"Hey Sydney!" I yelled from the other side of the classroom. "Shh!" She yelled as she quickly jogged over to me. "Oops." I said then giggled. Sydney sat next to me and we talked for a few minutes before the teacher walked in. "Hello class! I am Mr. Jones." The teacher said before he began with the lesson. I pulled out a notebook and a mechanical pencil then began to write down the various math problems that Mr. Jones was writing on the board.

I copied every single thing that he wrote on the board. When he was finished we still had at least five minutes left in class. I sat and talked to Sydney for the rest of the class. "Nick is really cute." She said as she pointed to a blonde haired boy with bright green eyes. "Eww! No he isn't." I giggled. "Shut up, Jill." Sydney said before she continued to stare at Nick for the remainder of the class.

As I walked through the halls looking for my next class I bumped into someone. Our bodies accidentally hit each other causing me to stumble back a few steps before regaining my balance. "Ow!" I said sternly as I looked at the boy who I just ran into. He had black hair and bright blue eyes. He looked identical to me besides the fact that I was a girl and I had bright green eyes. "I'm sorry. Are you okay?" He asked in a kind voice. "Yeah I'm fine I should've been watching where I was going." I said scratching the back of my neck. The boy giggled and I joined him in his soft laughter. "I'm Jillian." I laughed. "I'm Jack." He said before we walked to class.

"You have a nice laugh." He said before letting out yet another giggle. "Thanks you too." I said. "What do you have next?" He asked politely. "Oh Spanish." I chuckled. "Me too. Let's walk together." He said. "Okay, sounds like fun." I said. We walked side by side to class. We sat near the back of the classroom. The braid in my hair began to come loose so I went to grab it to fix it. Jack quickly swatted my hand away playfully and grabbed the end of the braid lightly and held it in his hand. "Can I fix it?" He asked kindly.

"Sure if you want to." I turned in my chair so that he could fix my hair. He slid the hair-tie off of the bottom of the braid and took it out letting my curly black hair fall to my back and shoulders. He gently ran his fingers through y hair to comb small knots away. When he was finished with that he separated my hair into three different sections and began to braid my hair. He neatly tied the end with the hair-tie and layed the hair on my back. "Thanks." I said as I turned back towards the board. The teacher, Mrs. Gonzales, wasn't teaching since it was the first day and she let us talk quietly the whole period. I talked to Jack the whole class.

After class we went our separate ways then met up again before lunch started. We put our items in our lockers and walked side by side to lunch. We sat together and ate. We laughed so much. Then a girl dressed in bright pink walked over to us. Jack and I both scowled at the color of this girls outfit. How could someone wear that color in public. "Not surprising. Two freaks hanging out."  She said in an annoying high pitch voice.

"Just leave us alone." I said to her before looking back at Jack. "Why should I?" She asked obnoxiously. "Because you are nothing but an annoying bitch." Jack said becoming annoyed. "Why don't you shut up and let your little girlfriend tell me why." She said. "Just as he said, because you are an annoying bitch. Now will you fucking leave." I said rudely. She sucked her teeth then turned around and walked away. "Now that that I over, can we continue our conversation." I said. I turned and my eyes where met by Jacks. We stared into each others eyes for a few moments before we broke away at the same time. "Soo..." I said awkwardly. "Soo..." He replied.

Then the boy, Nick, from math class walked over to our table. "Hey Jillian." He said with a half smile on his face. "Uh... Hi." I said annoyed enough for the day. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out some time." He said scratching the back of his neck. "Listen Nick, I really like you but as a friend. Sorry." I said. "Oh I get it." He said. He looked from Jack to me then turned around. "Wait, I know someone who really likes you."

"Who?"

"Sydney, I know it sounds weird but she really likes you and she want to go out with you, just ask her." I said then smiled. "Okay I'll ask her, she is pretty cute." He said then turned around and walked away. For the rest of the lunch period I talked to Jack uninterrupted, thankfully. After school was over Jack offered to give me a ride home. I accepted the offer. I climbed into the passenger seat of the black car and waited for Jack to get in. After we drove for a little while I fell asleep.
