The choice

Hiccup p.o.v

    It was the day of the final exam. Hiccup looked at his arm, covered with tattoos. Hiccup was born with them. The night fury tattoos covered his arms and back. Astrid walked from behind him.

     "Good luck with the dragon", she said worried.

      " It's not the dragon, I'm worried about," he said when staring at his  arm

        "What are you going to do?", she asked.

         " Put a end to this. I have to try. Astrid. If something goes wrong make sure they don't find toothless." he said as he turned to face her.

            "Okay. Just promising me nothing will go wrong.", she said looking at me with worry.

     I open my mouth to speak, but gobber speaks first.

     " Its time. Knock them dead", He said with a smile.

         I walk in the ring, I place my helmet on my head. I saw the teens from the corner of my eye. Everyone was cheering. 'What would they cheer if this goes wrong', I wondered as I headed to the weapon rack. I picked up a dagger and shelf. I hid my Magic Axe behind my vest.

  "I'm ready", I stated.

   The nightmare's cage burst open, flames on the doors. The nightmare climbed up the bars and chains at the top of the ring. Shooting a fire ball at the vikings. Then it saw me, It's pupils went wide

and suddenly dropped to the ground. I gasped. My tattoos started glowing just enough to not through my tunic.

      Everyone gasped. My dad was wide eyed. Astrid came up with her jaw to the floor.  My cousin looked ashamed. Probably because he teased me for years. In a matter of fact, everyone did looked ashamed.

   " Astrid, bring Fishlegs to the cove with you, He's the only other person I could trust with my secret.", I whispered on her ear before running out to the cove.

Astrid p.o.v

  Everyone stared at Hiccup as he went out. I went out to, but heading to Fishlegs.

I tapped on his shoulder.

   "Fishlegs", I whispered, " Want to hang with Hiccup and I?", I said with a smile.

   "What?", He asked as I took him to talk behind a house, " You and Hiccup? "

  "Yes, I whispered trying to be quiet, " We need your help."

His smile widened as we started walking the cove.

Fishlegs p.o.v

   I couldn't believe Astrid wanted to hang out with me. Hiccup and Astrid were the best Warriors in Berk!

"You have to swear to keep what I'm showing you a secert, understand?", Astrid whispered worried,

"This is how Hiccup got better at training. Remember the day Hiccup claimed he caught a night fury?", She whispered

I nodded, 'Did Hiccup catch the night fury?', I wondered

"He did. Hiccup trained it"She said as we entered the forest,"We  found out how to ride him too. We also found the dragons nest, when he took me for a ride after the battle yesterday."

I gasped, ' He DID hit a night fury, and TRAINED it too.'.  I wanted to tell the cheif. But Hiccup was the only guy nice to me.I decied to follow  Astrid.

"We are amost there.", She stopped and touched my shoulders, "You have to keep this a secert", She said as she jumped in a cove.

I looked around and jumped in too. There was a camp set up.

"Hiccup. Fishlegs is here,"she said to Hiccup.

Hiccup p.o.v

I turned to see Fishlegs. Staring at me.

"Fishlegs, I have to tell you something."

Fishlegs p.o.v

Hiccup rolled down his slevve. Showing a Night Fury tattoo. I gasped.

I'm cursed", he said quietly.

"Hiccup.. I'm sorry for everything. The teasing. The..", Hiccup cut me off.

"It's not your fault, It's nobody's fault.It happened like this."

Flasback

"But mom...."

"Hiccup. I know your scared but you have to protect your father.", Valka told her son.

"Your powers will get out of control at somepoint. You need no attention to you.", She said sadley.

"But I will be a screwup...unless.",Hiccup said sadly looking down. 

" Please HIccup. Please." 

End of flashback

I looked at Hiccup sadly.

"Hiccup, I'm sorry, if only i've known"

"It's gave me speed, strength and magic powers.", Hiccup said as he lit his hand up to reveal a growing axe. "Please keep this safe", Hiccup handed me a map.

"What is it?", I asked amased

"It's a map to the dragon nest.", Astrid said, "Stoick knows someone has the map, you are the last person he will know. We are running away on our dragon tonight", She gestured to three dragons behind Hiccup.

"You can choose to come if you want. The gronkcle is yours. Fishlegs. please come", Hiccup looked at me.

I thought hardly. If i go with them, i will know more about dragons then everybody. But my family...will be safe will will defeat the nest.

"I'll go.", I said prouldly.

Hiccup led me to the Gronkcle, he took my hand. and the gronkcle touched my hand.

"Fishlegs. We leave at night.Sundown.Go pack", he said as we left.

" Take anything that will tell we left.After your packed take it here so we are ready. we will leave after dinner"

Astrid p.o.v

Hiccup took us in a passgeway that leds directly to his room.

We left his house.

When i got home, i saw my mom stared at me. 

"Astrid, where have you been?", my mum asked.

"Hanging with Hiccup and fishlegs", I responded.

"Oh! The Battle was so good! The nightmare just dropped in front of him. I feel bad for us treating him bad though. Who knew he was so good!", my mom said, "He was wrecked after his mom died. Good to see him happy.".

I wish i could tell her what I'm doing.

Fishlegs p.o.v

Snoutlout came up to me when I walking home.

"That was so Amzashing. He knew he was so good!", he said exitced.

"I have to go.. home. see ya!"

I wish i could stay, but i can't.

Cove- dinner

We were eating dinner at the cove. So we can leave after.

 After Dinner we hoped on our dragons and said "Good bye, Berk."
