My hand started to cramp again I don't want to write anymore, but if I do that I'll get in trouble. Since I'm lucky to just be alive in the first place according to Ekko. What do they want anyways? If I'm caught writing this I might not come out of this alive. It's not like my words will stay anyways I'm not important in this girls story. I'm just hear to tell others stories, not mine.

Vine always remembered Forests words that night, it was like her safety blanket especially as life got tougher for the girl. This night was an one of the most unforgettable one for among family, and for Vine it was defined as her happiest moment before everything took a turn for the worst.

It was a Saturday so Vine felt relieved she didn't have to deal with any of her class mates, or school work for the day. The day began at an early eight o'clock when Vine had woken up by the warm sunlight that emitted from her windows, and decided to get up for breakfast. Vine hopped down the staircase that lead down to the living room when she got to the last step she backed herself up before she took one big final leap. Vine stumbled a bit before she could balance herself she looked at her feet with a smile before she looked up to see her younger sister already up. Melody was up and she seemed to have been for some time because she had all her dolls set in place with one in her hand.

Vine walked up to her younger sister, "Hi Melody, what'cha doing up?"

Melody looked up at her younger sister with her big brown eyes and a giant smile, "I couldn't sleep, so I got up. And then walked down stairs. And then went to play."

Vine smiled at her sisters response, "Are you hungry Melody?"

Melody shook her head as she hugged her doll tighter, "I want to play. Play with me!"

"Not right now Mel, I'm gonna eat first."

"You never play with me anymore!"

Vine was annoyed at her little sister for not understanding, but knew better that to get angry at her. "Like I said not right now, after I eat."

"Wait!"

"What now?" Vine huffed out.

"I am hungry." Melody admitted shyly as she looked down at her doll.

"Okay come on." The girls made there way from the living room to the kitchen which was just a room over. Vine helped Melody up on one of the breakfast bar stools, and instructed her to wait. Vine pushed a chair towards the kitchen cabinets, and hopped onto the chair. Vine then opened the cabinets to grab a bowl, but just as she got a grip her hand slipped causing the bowl to crash onto the ground as it shattered into pieces. The sound of the broken bowl shattered to pieces caused the girls to scream, and even for the young Melody to cry. Vine heard a the pounding of footsteps before she saw her brother and father.

Derek looked at the unexpected chaos with wide eyes, "Are you guys okay?" Worried about his children Derek puts their safety the propriety before anything else. Vine still ridden with anxiety and shock just silently nodded at her fathers direction. Derek walked over to the youngest child and picked Melody up in attempts to sooth the frightened child. Derek looked over at his son, "Forest make sure Vine's safe, and then help me clean up the mess would you?"

Forest who was already helping Vine just nodded at his dad with tired eyes. Forest made sure that Vine got away from the shattered glass without injury before he got the materials to clean. After the boys got everything cleaned up from the accident Forest helped his farther make breakfast for everyone. This was a nice surprise for Serene when she came home from work to see her children and husband up at nine in the morning with breakfast for her.

Serene smiled at her family, "Everyone's up and it's not even noon yet. That's a first." She walked up to her husband to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Well there was a little accident this morning, and the girls were shaken up. No matter though because the day will improve with out little meet up." Serene's husband held her hand as he spoke.

"Meet up?" Forest looked up from his breakfast to his father.

"Well, yes with the Hones family. We're coming over for dinner today around six, and we're all coming. No exceptions Forest."

"Hey, I'm not planning anything." The teen boy gave his farther a snide hand gesture.

For the rest of the day the Wisp family kept to themselves with their own individual tasks. Derek went to his office, Serene and Forest to their own bedrooms, and Vine stayed with Melody to play with her as she had promised. It stayed like this until it was time for the family to get ready for the Hones.

Vine wore a simple red dress that had a magnificent ribbon tied to the back along with the dress she just wore black tights with matching flats. Vine left her room to revisit the living room. When Vine got down there her mom was on the couch as she put on her earrings. Serene was wearing a red dress as well, but this one was more elegant with a detailed rose pattern, her brown hair gorgeously curled . The mom smiled at her beautiful daughter with untidy hair, "Vine come here I'll do your hair."

Vine walked up to her mother, and sat down on the couch as her hair was braided by the delicate hands of her mother. Soon the family arrived in the living room, and then gathered up to leave for the Hones. When they arrived Melody was the first one to rush out of the car in her bright pink dress excited to make some new friends. From what the Wisp family knew there would be two children around Melody's age one boy from the Hones named Killain, and a young girl from Justin's family the Fishers named Commie. Vine was happy with the news of Justin also coming it gave her an assurance that she wouldn't be bored or lonely. The adults told their children to go upstairs and play while they wait for dinner. Melody went along with Commie and Killain upstairs into a separate room from Vine and Justin. Vine was pulled along by Justin into the room. Justin closed the door with a childish smile on his face while Vine just looked at him quizzically. Vine silently sat down on a chair next to a desk with a sullen posture. Justin sighed, "How are you Vine?"
