Back in the olden times, a goddess called Evangelia descended from the heavens. This goddess has the power of creation and is the superior goddess of all. She has all kinds of powers. Evangelia's appearance is of a tall young woman with silver hair and has golden highlights at the ends, and emerald eyes. She wears a long white gown, a golden necklace with a diamond as its pendant, gold ring bracelets, and ruby earrings.
On that day, the goddess called forth the four elements necessary to create life. She molded the first element, earth, into a round mass of soil. She gave it an accompanying smaller round soil which orbits the larger one. Then Evangelia decorated the large mass of soil with furnished land with gaps. After that, she brought the element of water to flow through those gaps, forming little ponds to enormous oceans. She planted seeds around the land masses and watered them gently as it forms large forests and gardens. Mountains erected from the ground. She then gave the element of air for this large round mass to use, giving the greens ability to live. Lastly, Evangelia called the element of fire to give light to this world.
Pleased with what she created, Evangelia gave life to two beings like herself but without powers, and she called them humans who will live in this world that she made. One human being is of a strong man, the other a gentle woman. She saw that the two isn't very happy, so she made more of these humans which varied from gender, age, color, and appearance. Soon, the world was populated with beings that differ from each other. Each human has their own characteristics and attitude. To keep the humans company and give them a source of food, the trees bear fruits and the ground grew vegetables and crops. She also gave this world animals of different size and shape. The humans were thankful for the goddess's gifts and they coexisted with the animals and it kept the balance in the world. For a single day, she accomplished a lot. This world which she called Halcyone was her masterpiece. But then she thought that the world was too big for her to look out for alone. "I need people who can help me," she said to herself.
Some humans became envious, some needy. Although a lot of them are contented and satisfied with what they have, the goddess could hear their wishes and desires. Using their requests, the goddess will choose from them seven to give powers to. The seven will be Evangelia's demigod children who will own some of her powers to help her maintain Halcyone. But only the little ones would become her children because the purity and innocence of a child make his or her wish simpler and true to the heart. So she descended the next day, she began her journey to listen what the children really wanted.
On the first day, Evangelia traveled to a small village where the people around there grow plants and flowers to decorate their homes. The whole place is filled with greens and gardens. Not long after, she saw a young boy who's around fifteen, watering the plants on his home as well as taking care of his family's crops. The boy is so dedicated to what he's doing. Evangelia also saw him keeping things in order, never letting the other kids destroy the plants and crops.
Then, the goddess heard his wish. "I wish that the goddess can see what I'm doing. I want her to be proud of me. I always do my best to take care of the things she had given us," the boy hoped from the bottom of his heart. "I wish I could also protect the other living things that she created."
Acknowledging the earnestness of the boy, Evangelia presented herself in front of him.
"If you wish to protect and maintain life, it will be granted," Evangelia smiled at him. "But there is one condition: the people will forget who you are, and you will not remember your time here as a human. Accept, and you shall be my child."
The boy was excited but also afraid that he will be forgotten. Yet he answered, "All for the sake of protecting what you built, goddess Evangelia."
