3rd POV

Kaito was walking down the stairs of his research lab with Maki, Y/N and him was planning ways to try to kill Monokuma. Maki was blushing darkly, just the meer sight of the boy made the girl swoon. Suddenly Maki stopped in her tracks, and Kaito rushed over to his girlfriend. Y/N almost fell over as Kaito ran over to hug her, his girlfriend. Maki grit her teeth at the sight of this. Maki coughed loudly to get the attention of the two ulimates. "Kaito? You NEVER told me you had a girlfriend.." She spat, which wasn't true. Kaito had told Maki of his girlfriend, "I didn't? Well, now you know Maki Roll!" "Yeah.. whatever.." Maki huffed.

"Heh. I don't think we met before, I'm Y/N L/N." Y/N said as she hugged her boyfriend. Maki grit her teeth, "We' ve met before.. you just don't remember." Y/N looked confused but shrugged it off. "Hey Y/N, wanna go stargazing with me tonight?" Kaito asked and the ulimate (Talent) nodded with a blush and hugged her boyfriend. "Of course Kaito!" Y/N said sweetly, which made Maki sick to her stomach. She needed to get rid of the Ulimate (Talent) "But how?" She thought. She finally devised a plan.

After Kaito finally left with Y/N, Maki started her plan to attempt to kill the Ulimate (Talent). She got out a knife and waited for the time to strike,

(TIMESKIP TO WHEN Y/N AND KAITO ARE STARGAZING)

"Y/N.. did I ever tell you how much I love you?" Kaito started. "Yes, But tell me more." Y/N said with a smile, Kaito scooted closer to Y/N and huged her tightly. "I love you to the moon and back. Always remember that." Y/N smiled and nuzzles into his chest. "Kaito.. you are so full of bs.." Kaito smiles and plants a kiss on her forehead. "You tired babe?" "Duh.." Kaito picks Y/N up and carries her back to her room, Kaito turns to leave but Y/N stops him. "K-Kaito..?" Y/N mumbles, "Yeah Y/N?" "C-can you sleep with me.. I have a bad feeling.." Kaito's expression softens. "Y/N.. as much as i love you i can't, it's againest the school rules. We BOTH could get punished if we break the rules." Kaito says. "I understand.. goodnight Kaito.." Kaito comes up to the side of her bed and plants a kiss on her cheek, "I love you too Y/N. Now get some shut eye, I'll keep guard for a bit just in case I see anyone. Okay?" Y/N smiles and nods. "Thank you.." Kaito walks out and sticks to his word about protecting Y/N. He sits down and instantly sees Maki, He waves and the brown-haired girl's face goes pale. Seeing Kaito.

"K-Kaito...? What are you doing here?" Maki asks. "Oh! Y/N had a bad feeling that someone might try to kill her or something so I'm guarding her room just in case someone does try too." Maki nods like she understands but she is secretly gritting her teeth. "Is that So? If you want I could stand guard for a bit. You trust me right?" Kaito shakes his head. "I do trust you Maki Roll, it's just she asked ME to do it. And if someone does come I don't want you and her getting hurt. Understand? But you are welcomed to come and guard with me!" Maki's heart flutters a bit at Kaito being worried for her. She blushes and nods, sitting down on the floor. Kaito does the same and smiles at Maki, "Thanks for helping me Maki!" "Oh.. no problem." Maki says as she turns her head to hide her blush. A couple hours later Kaito let's out a yawn, "No one is coming.. go to bed, I'll stay up and watch her for you." Kaito shakes his head. "N-No.. I can't ask that of you.. Maki.." He yawns but Maki keeps telling him to just go to bed. "Please, Kaito." "Fine fine. Thank you for guarding her.. if ANYTHING happens I will never be able to forgive myself. Got it?" Maki nods and smiles a little to herself, wishing there was some other way to break up Y/N and Kaito besides killing one of them. Kaito was now back in his room, fast asleep. Maki picks the lock to Y/N's door and enters in with a smirk and she gets out her knife and looks back to see her friend, Korekiyo, the one who would actually be killing her, was right behide her.
