Jill's P.O.V

"It's eithah' the Dark Knight or me. What's it gonna be?" Raph whispered. I stood there in complete shock. Was he really making me choose?!

The Dark Knight was there for me when nobody else was and I was able to let my anger out in my own unique way. My potential wasn't limited and I could do whatever I wanted. I felt free and rebellious. But Raph, he was the one that held me together after Landon did what he did. He was the reason I got out of bed in the morning and had a constant smile on my face.

'But that constant smile hasn't been on your face for quite some time.'

"Shut up inner voice! You're not helping!'

"Jill! Are you's even listenin'?!" Raph snapped, bringing me back to reality.

"S-sorry. W-what were you saying?" I asked. He groaned and threw his hands up in the air out of anger and frustration.

"Who the hell is it gonna be, Jill?" He asked, his brown eyes penetrating into my own. I looked down at my getup and weapons that were attached to my belt, as well as my custom made snapback with my vigilante logo on it. Then I looked up at him and stared into his eyes.  "Well?" He asked nervously. I stared down at my snapback, thinking.

I had come to a decision. I put on my snapback and walked towards the window. I opened it up and stepped onto the fire escape. I looked back at Raph and he looked mortified, as well as the group. I sighed and just as I was about to run off into the night, a hand gripped my shoulder.

"Sis, you're making a huge mistake." Casey said. I shook his hand off of me and shut the window.

"Just watch the news at eleven." I sighed. I climbed the ladder and once my feet touched the concrete of the rooftop, I broke out into a sprint. I ran across the rooftops without stopping. My mind was a whirlwind of questions. How was I supposed to explain that I don't know what to choose?!

I came to a stop, not knowing where I was, nor caring. I sat down and buried my face in my knees. I was so confused and undecided. I wasn't even this bad as a teenager! I then heard a scream come from below me. I immediately kneeled down at the edge of the rooftop and looked down, only to see a teenage couple. The boy had the girl thrown over his shoulder and she was squealing and giggling like a five year old. He eventually put her down and they kissed.

It reminded me of Raph and I when we first became a couple.

I sighed and realized that I had made a really stupid choice. I ran off and came up with a genius plan that was a sure fire way to make up for the idiotic and irrational choice I made.

I was merely sitting on the rooftops when the Channel eleven news squad hopped out of the van and aimed a camera at me. I narrowed my eyes and realized that this was my chance. I jumped off the roof and stood there, watching Luke speak to the camera, his back turned to me. As the camera guy saw me walking towards him, he gasped and pointed at me. Luke stood still for a second before turning to face me. His eyes widened and his face turned paper white.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Here with me, actually at my side, we have the Dark Knight!" He shouted with a great amount of enthusiasm. I chuckled and put my snapback on backwards. "So how much crime have you fought tonight?"

"None." I said flatly. He narrowed his eyes and nodded.

"Okay. How much do you enjoy playing vigilante?" He asked and held the microphone up to my face.

"I love it. I love the rush it gives me and everything it has to offer," I paused and looked directly into the camera, continuing, "but this will be the Dark Knight's final appearance." I said. He narrowed his eyes and his face scrunched up in confusion.
