So she came over that night. We laughed and cried. Why did the world have to despise us, oh, but how come they have no say? Cover your eyes and ask where your reflection went. Perhaps as the mirror answers you'll understand that you simply covered their eyes.

"We should go to the park" I told the princess. She was a princess to me, no matter.

"Let's go" She grabbed my hand and dragged me there, but i wouldn't have it any other way.

The crunch of the fallen leaves, the wind blowing her hair. All was right.

Upon a hill by the lake we kissed. We kissed a kiss that showed we knew who we were, but no one else can.

We stayed there, hand in hand. Heart to heart. "We should go, we have to take you home soon" it was time to go, our will stuttered, but gave way to the rules.

"Wherever you are is my home" I heard you whisper. My heart leapt at those words. Those beautiful words.

So, once again, we walked. Slowly but surely. We walked away from our oasis and back to society.
