Regina was nothing more then Belch Higgins younger sister, she was nothing more then the shadow of the gang her brother was in.She never supported her brothers actions, and was completely disgusted on how he got his nickname Belch. She hated that he was known for burping in peoples faces, and she hated her brothers friends even more.
Growing up her brothers and his friends, they would always try and make her join in on their crazy past-times. But she wasn't like the rest of them, she would rather stay warm inside the house, in a clean outfit listening to quiet music.
They eventually stopped trying to join her in on their games, they eventually stopped trying to join her in on anything the did, they eventually started to ignore her.
When they started to ignore her, she decided to make new friends, her becoming bestfriends with Beverly Marsh. She didn't care that her brother didn't like Bev, because to be quite honest with you, nobody quite liked her either.
She spent most of her days curled up in her bed watching a movie, or driving around in her Gold Trans am. Something she managed to convince her parents to buy her, even though they were strangely more protective over her than her older brother.
Belch was allowed to do mostly anything he wanted, including having his asshole-friends over whenever he pleased.
Regina practically lived with Beverly, well Bev practically lived with her. They were inseparable, other than when Bev would hang out with the Loser's Club.
The Loser's Club didn't like Regina, mostly because they thought that her older brother would smash their teeth in if they were caught with her. This was a true thought though, if her brother did catch them with her, he wouldn't be too happy.
Although the Bower's Gang, didn't often see much of Regina, and always ignored her. They always kept an eye out for her, seeing if she was ever touched.
Patrick may seem like a dick, but only one person in the world could give him a sweet side.
That one person was...
Regina Higgins.
THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW
Regina crawled out of her queen bed, that was placed neatly in the middle of her large sized room. Her parents were gone for the week, something that she was used to.
She groaned knowing that her whole week would more than likely, be filled with stinky teenage boys and lots of loud music.
She HATED loud music, mostly because she has vivid flashbacks of drowning out her cries with her loud music. She used to often hide the fact that she missed her brother and his friends, that was now very distant in her mind now. She no longer needed people that didn't need her. The only people she needed love from was her parents and her bestfriend, Beverly Marsh.
Her closet was on the other side of her room, and was filled to the brim with denim, and velvet clothing, along with many band t's.
She would often lounge around in old t shirts, and her spandex shorts.
Knowing sadly that she soon had to go to school, she walked over to her closet grabbing the closest outfit in sight. She didn't care what she looked like, and that's what she liked about herself, she wasn't effected by other peoples opinions.
She wore a oversized denim jacket with boyfriend ripped jeans, a white led zeppelin shirt, and paired it with a pair of worn out converse. She usually wore her hair down, but today it was styled in a small messy bun on the back of her head.
Not bothering with makeup she ran down her stairs, but to her surprise her brother and his friends were waiting at the bottom of the stairs for her.
"Reg, how would you like to drive us to school today. My car won't start, and it's a long walk.", Belch said with a smirk, dangling her car keys from his middle finger.
"No Reginald, I shall not drive you and your little gang to school.", She glared between him and his friends, grabbing her keys and exiting to her car.
"How else are we going to get to school, Sweet cheeks?", Patrick called from behind her, she soon heard a punch signalizing Belch had hit him for his comment.
"I suggest not calling me Sweet Cheeks, would be a good start to asking me for a ride.", She turned around, raising her eyebrows at the tall, thin boy.
"Come on Reg, please just this one time.". Victor pleaded from behind the group, using the nickname they used to call her when they were younger.
"I'm giving you guys one ride, than this is it. And Beverly gets shotgun.", Regina finally agrees, rolling her eyes at the group of 4 boys.
The ride to Beverly's house was short, and Regina surprisingly didn't run off the road from the ridiculous amount of tension, between the 5 of them.
"Hey Bev.", She greeted her bestfriend, shoving Patrick, from the shotgun that he managed to snag.
Beverly made small, confused, eye contact with her bestfriend, not too sure why the group of boys were in her car.
"Don't even ask..", Regina sighed, signalizing she'd tell her later.
Reaching the school, she quickly turned off her engine and walked into the school with her bestfriend.
"Did that seriously just happen?", Bev asked, pointed a thumb towards where they had walked from.
Regina didn't reply other then a simple "Mhm", not being able to process why someone who she hadn't talked to in all that time, had just begged her for a ride.
The two girls reached their lockers, before saying their goodbyes to each other.
And once again Regina was left alone and confused, wondering why her brother pretended that his car was broken.
Did they want to hang out with her again? Did they finally decide that she was good enough for them? Did they really think they could play her like that?
