Chanyeol finally reaches home and he can already hear Jongin and Sehun? SEHUN?!

Chanyeol unlocks his door and he's right, Sehun is there with Jongin and Chanyeol just wants to leave. "Oh look! It's my favorite hyung!" Sehun stands up and runs towards Chanyeol, ready to welcome him with a hug. Sehun jumps on Chanyeol and Chanyeol cries in pain since Sehun is too damn heavy.

"You're not a baby anymore, Sehun!" Chanyeol shouts trying to push Sehun off him but the younger boy wont budge. "But you're my hyung." Sehun pouts and Chanyeol just rolls his eyes. "Get off me!" Chanyeol shouts and he finally manages to get Sehun off of him.

Jongin stands up and gives Chanyeol a hug and Chanyeol hugs him back. "How was the date, Park?" Jongin wriggles his eyebrows and Chanyeol just squeals.

Sehun stares at the two from a far and he frowns, "W-why Jonginnie?" Sehun asks Chanyeol with sad eyes and Chanyeol just adjusts his glasses and turns away. Jongin laughs at this, "He loves me more isn't it obvious."

Sehun just sighs and goes back and sits down and just plays with his phone since Jongin is too busy with Chanyeol.

Jongin knocks on Chanyeol's open door, he peeks through and sees Chanyeol in his sleeping clothes. "So how did it go? No sexual jokes included." Jongin asks, making his way inside Chanyeol's room. Before Chanyeol can answer Jongin's question he sees Sehun peek through the door. "Can I join too?" Sehun asks with his phone in hand, "I'm sorry hyung." Sehun apologizes with genuine eyes and a frown.

Chanyeol laughs at Sehun, "Of course, you can. I was just playing with you." Chanyeol says and Sehun dances in joy as he makes his way on Chanyeol's bed, jumping on it.

Chanyeol lets Sehun lay on his bed face flat while Jongin sits on the floor along with Chanyeol. "It went well, Jongin. I got to know a lot more about him and I got to bring him home safely." Chanyeol smiles while adjusting his glasses. "I also got his number but it's best if I don't message him right now, he may be tired and asleep so it's best not to disturb him."

Sehun then shimmies to the side so that he's facing his two friends. "What are you two talking about? Does Chanyeol have a boyfriend now or what?" Sehun's goofy smile then turns into a serious one. "Wait, Chanyeol is gay?!" Sehun's eyes widen and Jongin just lets out a sigh while Chanyeol looks at Sehun with hate, like always.

"Sehun, you don't understand just leav-" 

"Just because you're older than me by a few months doesn't mean that you could be all mature and stuff, Jongin!" Sehun defends himself, sitting up on the bed while holding a pillow.

Jongin lets out another sigh, "I didn't even mention our age difference, goodness." Chanyeol stops Jongin from doing anymore. "Just stop, he's still going through phases of confusion and wondering if the world is round or sqaure or a peanut just like his brain." Chanyeol says and Sehun is offended, he rolls his eyes at the two.

"Don't mind me, I'll just play some gam-" 

"We really wont mind you, hunnie." Jongin says and Chanyeol giggles a bit. Before Sehun can open his mouth, Jongin stuffs his mouth with his socks. "Don't say a word, let Chanyeol and I talk."

Jongin then turns to Chanyeol and smiles, obviously annoyed. "Continue."

"Well his name is Baekhyun and he has two brothers. One of his brothers are Chinese and I find that cool." Chanyeol has his goofy smile on while he thinks about Baekhyun.

Jongin smiles at how his best friend is in love, who would've thought that this innocent ball of fluff gets even softer when it comes to love. But Jongin feels weird, "Park, what day is it today?" Jongin asks and Chanyeol just raises a brow. "It's September 21, why?"

"Crap, it's my brother's birthday and I haven't greeted him. Wait let me just greet him." Jongin says, standing up and grabbing his phone on the bedside table. He leaves the room and dials Jongdae's number.

And he answers.

"Hyung, hey." Jongin says awkwardly. Jongdae chuckles, "Jongin~ hey, how are you?" He hears his brother's voice over the phone and he doesn't know why he feels guilt in every part of his body.

"Hyung, h-happy birthday." Jongin greets and Jongdae stays quiet for a while. He hears a ding sound on the other line. "Oh sorry, I was heating some water for hot chocolate." Awkward silence.

"Thanks, Jongin, didn't expect you to greet me. Really, thank you." Jongin couldn't see but he is 100% sure that Jongdae is smiling widely. "I'm sorry I forgot about your birthday, I really a-"

"It's okay, nini. You might be busy so it's okay, don't worry about it. The important thing is that you greeted me and that's enough to make me happy. Don't beat yourself up, alright? Study well and stay safe. I love you, nini." And before Jongin could even say goodbye Jongdae ends the call.

Jongin frowns, he whispers I love you too even though Jongdae wouldn't hear it. Jongin and Jongdae didn't really have a good relationship, it was always awkward but he doesn't know why Jongdae is so forgiving. He's done a lot of things that aren't pleasing but Jongdae just smiles and forgives him.

He doesn't know why he was never close to Jongdae, he doesn't know if it was their differences or if they just didn't like each other at all but Jongin always felt close to Jongdae no matter what. They weren't close but Jongdae would always make sure that Jongin was safe and well. Jongdae would think that he doesn't notice but Jongin notices every single subtle act of care his older brother shows him. Jongin shakes his head, why is he even thinking about this right now?

He should be caring more about Chanyeol, he's torn between them. He feels a tap on his shoulder, he turns around and sees Sehun. "Chanyeol kicked me out of his room, he said he's going to sleep." Sehun frowns and Jongin sighs, "Alright, I'll be sleeping here anyways since we have classes tomorrow. You can sleep here too." Jongin points at the couch. "You sleep there."

Sehun smiles widely and jumps on the couch. "Good night, Jongin!" Jongin hums as he lays on the other vacant couch, he wraps himself in blankets and slowly but surely falls asleep.
