More than just a friend (Ryan x Tina) ✔

Chapter 1: Welcome back to Daycare! Or... Not...

It was another day back at daycare. All the kids were coming back from their little Christmas break.

Ryan walked into the daycare and smiles, "Hi director!"

"Hey Ryan, did you have a good break?" The director asked.

"It was good! Is everyone here yet?"

"I think Sabre and Shark are late, but everyone else is-"

"'Kay bye!" Ryan ran off not letting the director finish what he was saying. Ryan walks into the playroom. "Hi everybody!"

"Hi cutie!" Tina jumps up with joy.

"Hi Tina, how are you?" Ryan smiles.

"Good! Oh, Unicorn man wanted me to bring you to his lab. Come on!" Tina lead Ryan to meet Unicorn man. "Unicorn man! Ryan is here!"

"Oh, thanks Tina." Unicorn man smirks. He pulls out a gun. "Now Tina, lock him up." Tina's eyes changed to glowing red.

"Yes sir." Tina quick grabbed Ryan.

Ryan yells. "What?! Tina, what's going on?! Unicorn man what did you do to Tina?"

Unicorn man chuckles, "Not just her. I have a whole army." The rest of the daycare kids walked up behind Unicorn man. All of their eyes were glowing red.

Ryan had to think quickly. He turns his head slightly to look at Tina.

"Tina, come on... this isn't you."

"Whatever do you mean Ryan? I've always been this way." Tina looks at Unicorn man.

"Take him down to the basement. The boss will want him alive." He spoke. "Goldy go help Tina."

"Yes sir!" Goldy runs up to help Tina.

Tina and Goldy bring Ryan down to the basement of the lab. They tied him up to the chair.

"Tina, come on! Just let me go. We can figure out what is going on." Ryan tries to talk to Tina.

"Tina, can you go check how long the boss is going to be? Who knows how long Ryan will stay there without somehow getting out." Goldy spoke. Tina nods and runs off. Goldy walks up to Ryan.

"U-uh... Goldy... please don't hurt me!"

"No, you idiot. No one is getting hurt." She rolls her eyes.

"Wait... your not under Unicorn's control?" Ryan was shocked.

Goldy sighs. "Contacts." She points to her eyes, "Now listen, do you remember that time a boy named Casper came here? And we made him go away...?"

"Uh-huh?" Ryan answered.

"Well he came back. Ryan, he tricked Unicorn man into making this potion to make everyone go under his command, not Unicorn man's." Goldy took a deep breath. "Casper somehow got the potion into Unicorn man, and made him second in command. That's why he was like that. Ryan, I don't know what to do."

"Hold up. Unicorn man as a leader?" Ryan raises an eyebrow.

Goldy scoffs. "Ryan, he told Tina and the other kids instructions and they listened to him, didn't they?"

"Hang on... untie me. We need to go meet Sabre and Shark. They will be here soon."

"And Tina?" Goldy asks as she untied Ryan.

Ryan frowned. "I'm going to save her... but I can't just yet... W-we need a plan. And when I get my hands on Casper... he is going to pay. I swear... if Tina gets hurt even just a little bit, I'll-"

"Ryan! Calm down. We need to go. Tina will be back soon. Come on, this way." Goldy took Ryan's hand. There was a secret passage that she made to get to the front of the daycare.

"Come on Shark. We're already late!" Sabre groans walking up to the daycare.

"Sabre, Shark!" The two turns to see Ryan and Goldy in the ground. "Hurry, come here!" They whispered.

Shark and Sabre followed Ryan and Goldy. Ryan caught the two up with what was happening.

"I hope Cookie is okay..." Sabre pouts. "Ryan what are we going to do?"

Ryan was deep in thought. He wasn't sure what to do. He hadn't felt this hopeless before.

"Ryan, come on!" Goldy snapped him out of his thoughts. "Tina has been 'mind controlled' before. You have been through stuff like this before. Just calm down and save the daycare." Goldy smiles. Shark and Sabre come up next to her nodding.

Ryan takes a deep breath in and sighs, "You're right. We can do this." And just like that, Ryan was back in the game. "Sabre go and find us some traps we can use. Shark, guns. Goldy think of a distraction for your stupid boyfriend."

"Hey! He's not my boyfriend!" Goldy groans. Ryan rolls his eyes as all he could think about was his best friend Tina.

"Goldy... I'm sorry, but you better hope she's not hurt." Ryan says as he walked away to meet Shark.

Shark found some guns that he, Ryan and Sabre had hidden around the daycare. "Dude, what's the plan here?"

"I-I don't know... Shark."

"You're going into this blind?!"

"What do you want me to do?! He has Tina mind controlled. And it's by some crazy person who knows Goldy." Ryan pouts. Shark sighs.

"Guys!" Sabre came running in. "Tina and the other kids are looking around the daycare for Goldy and Ryan."

"Tina..." Like in a trance, Ryan began to walk to the opening the made in the ground. But Sabre and Shark pulled his back, while Goldy tried talking sense into him.

"Ryan, dude. You need to chill. Tina will be fine, but if you let Casper know that she's the one you care about, who knows what will happen." Goldy spoke quietly.

Ryan began to calm down. Shark and Sabre let him sit down. "We will save Tina and the daycare. Don't worry." The two spoke.

Ryan blinks his eyes. "Okay..."

Goldy runs out of their hiding hole and Ryan whispers, "Goldy wait!"

"Hey! Hey guys over here!" Goldy yells running around the front of the daycare.

The kids of the daycare came up with guns and knives in their hands. "H-hey guys... what's up?"

Tina snarles, "Get. Her." They began to close her in when...

"Stop! No hurting this target. Just Ryan." They all turned around, revealing Casper. He slowly walks up to Goldy. "Ryan is the one who needs to pay."

Ryan growls, reloading his gun. "You're the one who needs to pay." Ryan arises from the ground and aims at Casper. Ryan quickly gets in front of Casper, blocking him from getting to Goldy.

"Sorry, but Goldy isn't someone you can just take."

"I'm sorry. I don't think you realize I have an army, do you?" Casper smirks. "Your little girlfriend here too. Tina, attack Ryan. Get him away from my Goldy." Goldy and Ryan didn't think Casper was that smart. They didn't realize Casper knew that Ryan cared for Tina.

Only as his best friend of course!

Tina steps up from the crowd. "With pleasure." Tina tightens her grip around her knife. "Let's dance. Cutie." She smirks. Ryan's eyes widen and began to water a bit.

Ryan began to step away from Goldy. "Goldy, fix this..." Ryan's voice was soft. "I'll deal with Tina. You fix this."

Goldy looks at Ryan worriedly, but nods. "I'll get it done... don't worry."

They nods once more to each other and Ryan runs off with Tina following closely. "Shark, Sabre! Now! I'll be back!" Ryan yells. And all of a sudden a wall formed between Casper and the daycare kids.

"Looks like someone lost their army!" Sabre taunts.
