More than just a friend (Ryan x Tina) ✔

Chapter 9: Lost memories?

It was another day at daycare. Ryan walks in to actually see the director in the building.

"Director! You're actually here today!" Ryan says, pretending to care.

"Hey Ryan. I am back. There was a business trip I needed to go on." The director smiles.

"Riiight..." Ryan says as he walks away from the director. "Hi everyone!" Ryan runs into the playroom, jumping onto the table.

"Hi Ryan!"

"Hi!" Tina smiles. Ryan looks at Tina. She never just say 'hi,' it was always 'hi cutie!'

"Hey my dude." Goldy says.

Tina looks over at Goldy. "So, I was thinking that it would be so much fun if we had a sleepover!" She says to Goldy.

Ryan was now concerned. Tina was kind of nice to Goldy... But never that nice. Ryan walks up to the two girls. "Hey Tina."

"Uh... Hi?" She turns to Goldy.

"Ryan?" Goldy sounds out for her.

"Ryan! Hi Ryan." Tina smiles. Ryan raises and eyebrow and glances at Goldy. Goldy gives him a nervous look.

"Let's go talk in the hall buddy." Goldy awkwardly laughs leading Ryan to the hall. "I'll be back Tina." Goldy yells back.

"Okay!"

Ryan and Goldy stand next to the portal. "It was an accident... Unicorn man accidentally hit Tina was some laser... And well... She lost some of her memories..." Goldy sighs, "but don't worry! He is in his lab trying to fix this."

Ryan runs out to Unicorn man's lab. "Unicorn man! What are you going to do to fix Tina?!" Unicorn man mumbles as he is trying to focus on his potions. "Unicorn maaannnn!" Ryan yells.

Unicorn man sighs, "What?!" Unicorn man was getting frustrated.

"Tina! Fix her!"

"Ryan, get out if here! I'm trying!" Unicorn continues what he was doing.

Ryan sighs, "Fine." Ryan walks back into the daycare. Tina was still talking to Goldy as if they were the best if friends. Ryan felt mad. He thought that should be him there sitting and chatting with her.

The director walks up to Ryan. "Hey Ryan, is there something going on with Tina? I asked her something about you and she said, 'Why would I know anything about Ryan? We barely hang out.' Did you two fight?"

Ryan groans, "No... Unicorn man did something to her..." The director looks back at Tina.

"Hm... does he know how to fix it? Not saying it's bad that she finally friends with Goldy. But it is weird not seeing the two of you together." The director says turning back to Ryan.

"Guys! Guys!" Unicorn man runs into the daycare. "I got it!" He holds up a potion in a bottle. He runs up to Tina and throws it at her.

"Hey-..." Tina blinks and she looks around. "Wh-what's going on? Where am I? Who am I...?" Tina asks looking at the kids and the director.

Ryan furiously turns to Unicorn man and grabs him by the shoulder. "Unicorn man! You made it worst!  Now she can't remember anything!" Ryan groans pushing Unicorn man away. Ryan walks up to Tina and takes a hold of her hand.

"Follow me. I... I will try to catch you up." Tina nods and follows Ryan upstairs to the nap room.

"So... Who am I again?" Tina asks Ryan as they both sat on a bed.

Ryan takes a deep breath in. "Your name is Tina."

"Tina... oh! That's right, my name is Tina!" She giggles actually remembering that. "We are at a daycare I'm guessing, right?"

"Right." Ryan answers.

"How do we know each other?" Tina pouts her lips.

"We... we are very close best friends." Ryan takes Tina's hand in his. "We are always together."

"Sounds like a couple honestly." Tina taps her pointer finger on her chin.

"N-no, we aren't dating!" Ryan exclaims.

Tina giggles, "Silly, I wasn't saying we were together. I said it sounds like a couple." Tina smiles at Ryan. "What's your name again?"

Ryan's smile begins to fade. "R-Ryan..."

"Right Ryan, sorry... I forgot... I don't understand what is going on with me." Tina's eyes began to water. "Why can't I remember anything?"

"Tina, it'll be okay!" Ryan tries to comfort her. "Let's try to just boost your memory. Like... You're the leader if the slingshot squad. We have a base in the backyard. You're best friends with Cookie, who also likes Sabre. Sabre is best friends with Shark, they are almost like brothers. They are friends with me and you. Goldy, you're like... in a hate/love sort of friendship." Ryan didn't even want to bring up Unicorn man. Tina just stares at Ryan. He could tell she was trying to think. Trying to remember.

Tina finally spoke. "Yeah... Uhm, I'm sorry Ryan. I just can't remember any if that..." Tina sighs.

Suddenly an idea popped into Ryan's head. "Tina!" Tina looks straight at Ryan. "Please just bare with this." Ryan leans in closer to Tina. Tina begins to blush and closed her eyes tightly.

"R-Ryan!" She pushes him away. "Cutie, you need to slow down!"

Ryan gasped. "What did you just call me?"

Tina's eyes widen. "Cutie?" She gasps covering her mouth. "I-I remember! Ryan!" She pulls him into a hug.

Ryan smiled. "Come on. Let's go play a game at my house Tina."

"Okay, Cutie." Tina giggles. She takes a hold of Ryan's hand and they walk out of the daycare.

"Wait! I got it! I can fix it!" Unicorn man came running behind them.

"Hurry," Ryan spoke to Tina, "run!" The two ran off and Unicorn man trying to catch them.

And that was another day at daycare!
