He wasn't as bad as I thought.

Connor, I mean.

He wasn't badass.

Somewhere behind that bad was good.

But, I knew he was bad for me.

I didn't want to get into trouble.

I didn't want to get hurt.

Even though I knew that every breath he took, I liked him even more.

"What do you think then?"

Shit.

I zoned out, what do I do now?

"Sorry?" I raised an eyebrow.

He chuckled.

"We were talking about my music career." He smiled.

No smirk.

A genuine smile.

A real smile.

"Oh, yeah sorry. Um, I think if you like music, it will all be worth it in the end." I smiled.

It was midnight.

Currently, I sat against my wall, on my bed.

Connor sat on the floor.

"Wheres your dad?"

Connors face was concerned.

A picture you wouldn't expect.

"Working."

"But most students are asleep." Connor laughed.

He was right.

It didn't sound right.

"I think he's working on presentations and shit like that."

Connor ahed in response.

I was starting to get more and more tired.

"Are you alright?"

Connor stood up.

"Just tired."

"I can go-" I cut him off.

"I like the company."

I liked this Connor.

The one I met over 12 hours ago.

Yeah, I hated him.

The house shared moments of silence.

Then I heard the front door open.

Dads home.

Connor shot a look at me.

I pointed to the bed.

"Lie flat." I warned.

Connor crawled in and I lied next to him.

Lights off.

Door open.

"Ahh, Ri your awake." His voice slurred.

"Are you drunk?" I asked.

What was this guys deal?

He never drinks more than a wine or a beer.

"Maybe a little." He laughed making gestures.

"Come on, lets take you to bed."

This wasn't my thing.

In fact, it wasn't his either.

"Your a good girl, did you know that?"

I took his arm and put it around my neck.

Step by step.

Stumble after stumble.

We made it and as soon as he hit the pillow, bam.

He was out.

I crawled back to my bedroom.

"Your a good girl?" Connor winked.

I rolled my eyes.

This was embarrassing.

"I'm sorry, he's never done that before."

I was bright red.

Connor walked to me.

He stopped and his pressure caused me to stumble against the wall.

"It's okay..." He whispered into my ear.

His mouth slowly saw my lips.

Contact was almost there.

I couldn't do this, could I?

But I could.

The lips.

The eyes.

They made it so hard for me.

Real hard.

I felt his lips touch mine.

My body lit up.

My first kiss.

It wasn't what I expected.

It was more.

I pulled back.

"I can't do this." I spoke.

"Why not?"

If he knew it was my first kiss would he tell everyone?

Would he laugh at me?

"It's your first kiss isn't it?"

Connor smiled.

No smirk.

I nodded.

"Just follow me."

He leaned in again.

This time I never stopped him.

I'm so glad I didn't.

He was perfect at this.

I didn't really know how to act.

But as soon as his lips touched my neck, I knew what to do.

"Stop... I'm not like that."

Then, he did something I never expected.

He apologised.

"I'm sorry, I - I"

I chuckled.

"Don't worry about it."

Connor grabbed his coat and looked at me.

"See you soon Ariana."

He knew I hated it.

But he continued to do it.

I guess it would grow on me.

"See you Monday." I watched him jump down off the balcony.

I knew that he was genuine now.

But he looked like he'd seen a ghost.

I got into bed and pulled the covers over me.

Time to sleep.

But all I could think of was him.

That's never happened before.

Friday nights were nights in with dad.

Takeaways.

Oh my god.

I forgot to eat.

I shrugged it off and placed my hand under the pillow.

To my surprise a small piece of paper.

'You're a good kisser. X'

What, how?

I smiled and put the note on my cabinet.
