Jonah's Pov

We were all sitting in the living room talking about what we're going to do in 2018. I was on the couch with Danielle, Corbyn and Christina, Jack was cuddling with Zach, and Daniel was in the loveseat.

We were watching the count down on TV and saw we had 1 minute left. I can't wait because I really want to kiss Danielle at midnight and I hope she'll kiss back.

"This has been the best 2017 of my life and I wouldn't have had it without you guys. I love you guys." Danielle said, smiling uncontrollably.

We all looked at the TV and started counting down from 10.

"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...0! HAPPY NEW YEAR!" We all screaming, shooting up from our seat, jumping around.

I turned my head and saw Corbyn and Christina kiss. I turned my head back towards Danielle and saw her looking at me. This is my chance. Here we go.

I leaned in and kissed Danielle. She froze for a couple of seconds, but then kissed back. Oh thank God she kissed back because that would've been awkward.

I put my hands on her face and caressed her face as she put her arms around my neck.

We heard everyone stop cheering and look at us, but that didn't stop us from kissing. Danielle and I pulled away for air and looked into each other's eyes and smiled.

Everyone else, that we forgot was still standing there, were jumped up and down, running around, and screaming with excitement.

"MY SHIP HAS SAILED EVERYONE!!! I REPEAT, MY SHIP HAS SAILED!! JANIELLE FOREVER!!" Christina shouted with excitement, running around with her arms raised in the air.

"MY PARENTS! I FINALLY HAVE A DAD!! YEAH!!! JANIELLE FOREVER!!" Zach yelled, running around with Christina.

Danielle and I started laughing at everyone's reaction. I looked at Danielle and smiled as she looked at me.

"Danielle, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked, smiling at her.

"Of course I will, Jonah!" Danielle said, smiling widely as she hugged me.

I hugged her back and kissed her forehead. Corbyn came up to me and said,"Congratulations, bro!"

"Thanks bro." I said, smiling.

"I APPROVE!!" Jack said, running around.
