A Little Help

A Favor Returned

Atem's POV

We found something shocking the other day. Seven has a love interest! She never told us about it before cause it never came up, but he came over one day to check on her because she didn't tell him where she went.

Flashback~

Knock, Knock

"Who could that be?" I ask Yugi and the others (Bakura, Ryou, Marik, Malik, Joey and Seto).

They all shake their heads. I open the door to see a white-haired (with green highlights) young man in a white outfit.

"Excuse me, but is a girl named Seven here? I heard she lived with you guys." The man asked coldly, but politely.

"You know Seven? Who are you?" I replied back.

"I'm—" he starts, but was cuts himself off when he saw Seven. His eyes go wide with relief, longing and love.

The other yamis and I have grown to be protective of Seven after she helped us and we learned about her past. Kinda like we're her older brothers. So, seeing the look of longing and affection on his face pissed us off. Bakura's the first one to snap.

"Who are you?! What do you want with her?!" Bakura snaps.

"That's none of your business." The man snaps back coldly. His attitude reminds me oddly enough of Seven before her emotions returned. Regardless, Marik and I also make ourselves look intimidating as we try to make the green-eyed kid back away.

"Atem, Bakura, Marik. What are you guys doing? Is the person at the door a criminal or something?" Seven asked as she smirked. She came closer, but stopped dead in her tracks when she saw who it was.

She swallows slowly. "Zero? Is that you?"

The boy's face lights up as he runs up and embraces Seven in a hug, much to our annoyance. Seto looks over and just glares at the kid.

Seven returned the hug in joy before explaining that he's a friend. After a few minutes of dialogue between the two, the boy turns around and introduces himself. "Hello, I apologize for my rude behavior earlier. My name is Zero. I'm a dragon prince from a distant dimension. It's nice to meet you all. The reason I'm here is to check up on my lo- I mean friend."

We noticed how strained that friend part came out. It seems that the two love each other but don't know how to express it. The I remember something.

"Wait, you're a prince and a dragon?! How?" I exclaim. The others are also shocked.

"Yeah. Well, for convenience, I can change my appearance to that of a human's."

"Oh. Well, it's nice to meet you."

He smiles. "It's nice to meet you too."

After getting to know Zero, the gang and I all come up with some plan to help the two confess their feelings.

Flashback End~

"Soooo, what's the plan?" I ask the others.

Seto looks up from his computer. "The simplest thing."

"What's that?" The others and I say in unison.

"We pretend to go for a night out and invite Zero over." We don't get it and Seto sighs at that fact before continuing. "Slowly, one by one, we'll make excuses to go away and leave the two alone. Simple, right?"

"Right! That's a great idea, Kaiba!" chirps Yugi.

"Yeah!" The other two hikaris and Joey agree.
