Chapter 3: Kim Minseok

Kim Minseok's Point Of View

I woke up at the usual time, half five in the morning. Today I had a day off, every Wednesday was a good day because I had no work to do. I wish I could've had a lay in. Being a manager for a big company was hard, but when people congratulate you and see how hard you really work, it makes me feel proud! I rose from my bed and looked around the empty room. I had a bizarre dream last night, I was with somebody and we were acting just like a couple but it wasn't a girl...I was with a guy. I've never had a dream like that before, it was very mysterious...Ever since Seokjin became one of my employee's, I have been experiencing weird things happening, dream wise. Like how my straight thoughts suddenly turn to different thoughts.

I walked downstairs to be greeted with the puppy, wiggling her butt in excitement, Ein was such cute puppy, I was glad that I took her in and named her because she was the best dog to keep. She seemed to be well toilet trained and didn't have any accidents, ideal for someone like me because I loved to keep the house clean and organised. I walked into the kitchen to get her dog food and grab my beloved Froot Loops. My original plan was to stay in bed and work on my laptop all day, but I wanted to do something different. My phone screen lit up when a message appeared, a message from Seokjin. It was a reply from the message I sent last night. That gave me an idea in my head, I texted him back with a huge grin on my face 'Morning Jinnie, are you free today? I have a day off today and wanted to spend some time with you! I can come pick you up, lets have lunch with each other.'

I was hoping that Seokjin was free, I had an urge to be around him. My stomach would feel different when with him, I didn't want to sound cliché or anything, but I felt nervous around the male. His sense of humour fit in with mine and his smile was adorable. The glasses he wore though, holy hell they turned me on so much...I nearly told him to change them when he wore them on his second day of working. The sound of my phone rang and I smiled, it was Seokjin calling me. I instantly picked up the phone.

"Jinnie! What a pleasure, how are you?" I smiled when I heard his voice, it sounded like an angel but yet very...different? How did someone so perfect walk into my café looking for a job to keep him going.

"Hello Hyung! I got your message, I am free after my class in university if you'd like to pick me up from there? It's much closer." He spoke gently and in a calm matter, I smiled and found myself nodding.

"Okay then Jinnie, please send me the address and I'll pick you up from there." I really couldn't stop smiling, my body was fidgeting in excitement as I was talking to him, he also sounded tired, what time had he woken up..."Jinnie, what time was you up at..."

There was a short minute or two of silence before he spoke up, "I've been awake the whole night...Minseok there's someone in here..." My eyes instantly widen, he had woken up before me and I was speechless, I came up with a plan. If someone was in his house, he had to hide.

"Stay at home, I am on my way okay? Try and hide." And with that, I hung up. I didn't know what was going through my mind, I ran upstairs and started getting dressed, I needed to know if Seokjin was okay. He sounded extremely tired and my inner self couldn't hold back, I wanted him to be okay. I grabbed my car keys and walked outside after saying goodbye to Ein, she was so adorable! I jumped into my car, starting the engine up and racing towards Seokjin's house. He told me he shared the apartment, with a friend of his but his friend wasn't going to be there for the night. I was so worried, my heart was racing. I walked up to his front door and knocked on the door, I soon came face to face with a different man.

"Uhm...Is Seokjin in?" I say, knowing fully well that he was, I was looking through the gaps, everything didn't seem trashed apart from the sound of someone banging on a door, I slowly looked up at the imposter and cracked my knuckles. "Where is he?" I asked more sternly than before.

"You don't live here, scram. I have money to pick up." He went to close the door and I wedged my foot in between the doorframe and door, I couldn't leave Seokjin on himself in there. I was glad I learned Taekwondo, this man couldn't hurt anyone even if he tried.

"I'm afraid you have me to deal with, I'm his boss. You want money?" I pushed the door open, walking in and seeing something on the floor, it was red. I walked over to the door Seokjin was banging on and it flung open as soon as I unlocked it. Seokjin stood there with a bleeding lip and crying gently. My heart sunk, he had gone through this when I was on my way...He saw me and instantly wrapped his arms around me in fright, I held him tight. I soon realised that he and his friend couldn't stay at that house, it was tearing itself apart. I looked at the landlord, "you don't get money like this, do you!" My blood was boiling, Seokjin was clinging onto me as he was scared, I couldn't control myself. This man had hurt one of earths angels, he was a dead man now.

He came over, he angrily looked at me, cracking his knuckles and looking very violent indeed. "I can get my money how ever I want, I will get it one day. I promise yo-" As soon as he began to shout, I sat Seokjin down on the nearest couch and threw an uppercut into the bastard's face. He grunted and held his jaw as he went to swing but I held his closed fist in my hand. Just giving him my evil glare made him back away, "I'LL GET MY MONEY!" He shouted and walked out, I turned to Seokjin, he was shaking while staring at his hands.

"Hey...pack your bags, I'm going to leave your friend my address for him to come and stay with us alright?" I walked over and sat next to him, pulling him into a soothing hug. "I'll help you pack if you like?"

"Hoseok will stay with his boyfriend...he was planning to anyways...I'm so sorry Minseok, I really am..." He cuddled into me, apologising for something he didn't do as I ran my hands through his hair, it was extremely soft! As soon as he started to calm down, I wiped his cut lip and cleaned it up for him. I didn't ask what happened as Seokjin already looked traumatised. He smiled once I was done cleaning him up and then sighed gently. Something was bothering him.

"Hey, smile for me." I say as he looked up at me, tilting his head as he then gave me one of his handsome smiles. I smiled back and walked into his room to help pack. As soon as I walked in, his room was spotless, he had quite a surprising room, his bed sheets and walls were pink. He had several different plushes on his bed and that made me smile even more, he was such a sweetheart. He had a cage by his bed, it was like a hamster one and so I walked over to see what creature laid in the cage. Two sugargilders sat on a swing together, snuggling and licking at each other's ears as they cleaned each other. They were truly adorable! Jin came up behind me and chuckled gently as he seemed to feel a little better, "The landlord said no dogs...so I thought why not get these cuties?"

I chuckled gently, we both started to pack everything he needed as I hummed and soon found a letter that sat at his bedside table, I didn't want to be nosey but I couldn't help myself, I started to read the letter.

'Dear Seokjin,

I know you're mad at me but please believe me when I say I love you, I mean the three words deeply and I hope you realise that, as your father I cannot believe all the hardships I put you through, especially as a child. And now I want to offer you a job, but you keep declining, why is that? Are you afraid? I just want to see my little boy again, I bet you look as handsome as me, I hope you do write back or at least call but I miss you.

I was shocked when reading through this, Seokjin was offered a job but I wanted to find out more. I quickly put the letter back and helped Jin bring his stuff into my car and soon saw him sighing, he must've had a hard time trying to keep the house. "It's over now, I have a spare room and you're free to cook and do whatever you please, I hope you don't mind dogs too." With that, I took his hand in mine and opened the car door for him, he got in and we made our way back to my place. Just me and him....
