"I can't believe they're just gone"
"There has to be a way to get them back" Stefan was pacing around my bed on the verge of tears. Again.
It had been like this everynight for the past week.

Stef would come to my house, climb in through my window just to talk to me. I'd tried to comfort him as much as possible but after losing your brother and some really close friends, for what might be forever, its hard to keep hope.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*
"I'll just be a moment" I whisper and kiss stefan on the forehead. I ran at vampspeed down to the front door to let in Elena, my best friend.
"How's he doing?" she asked.
"Not great, what about you? You just lost the love of your life AND we lost Bonnie. You can't be dealing that well!" came out in my angry-worried-stressed-upset voice.
"I just mean" i sighed, "are you okay?".
"I'm not okay Car, but i have Ric back, and i have you and Jer to support me, we need to be here for Stefan and stay strong for Damon, its what he would want."
"Come on Elena, lets just go up to the room." I gave her a big hug and we vampsped upstairs.

Walking back in the room, something felt a little off. I was almost uncomfortable with the affection Elena was showing Stefan. I knew she was just acting as a friend, but i couldn't help feeling……jealous? I was not jealous of Elena and Stefan. Or was I? Either way i needed to stop them.

"We need to have fun guys!" I even  surprised myself with my enthusiasm.
"That's actually a really good idea!" Elena was in.
I didn't think Stef would be as easily convinced though.
"Its what Damon would want." Elena chimed up.
Stefan sighed, unsure of what to do
He looked at me with a feeling of warmth. I smiled.
"Okay, i'm in."
