So hello there reader. I'll start off with introductions, my name is Colton and for some reason I decided it'd be a fabulous idea to tell you and anyone else who bothered to check this story out some of the stupid things I've done over the years. And I also thin this goes without saying but just don't try to do these things. Not all will be stupid and over the top but just use common sense. Now with that out of the way on to the first story!
This story happened 2013 and as you could probably tell I was going camping.
Summer vacation had just come for me and I was ready to let out all my pent up energy so my whole family took a trip up to Vermont for two weeks. When we finally got there we set up our camp and afterwords just broke off to do our own thing.
Me and my brother decided it would be fun to explore the surrounding area on our bikes. I thought it would be cool so we both set out. After about 20 minutes of riding we ended up coming across an extremely steep hill. Not only was this hill steep but it was also massive.
I decided to do the right thing and stop before I went down the hill and most likely crashed down at the bottom. Well that's what I did at least but my brother? Nope, He just barreled past me and with a shout of joy he hurtled down the hill.
Now let me put this out there, remember we were camping so the hill was rocky and bumpy and altogether a mess. And putting that together with a bicycle barreling down the hill at almost 30 miles per hour things were not were very good.
About half way down, the tire of my brothers wheel got stuck on a rock or something and he got sent flying along with his bike down the hill. He was bleeding badly from his knee and head due to the fact he pretty much skidded on his knees the rest of the way down the rocky hill and smashed his head at the bottom.
I quickly tried to get down there to help him. On my bike. Seems I really didn't learn anything from his mistake did I?
Well I pretty much got the same injuries as him thanks to that. To wrap things up we hobbled our way back to our campsite and got cleaned up. Luckily neither of us got a concussion or worse and we were left with just a scar or two on our knees.
THE END
well that was my first story of many, please comment tell tell me what you think of the story!
